I feel like this wouldn’t be complete without a wallpaper tribute. So I made a quick one. I dedicate this car to all GTO users/lovers in this game. From the day I began using this car, till this moment, I’ve never gotten bored with it. Maybe partly because I’m a car purist (meaning I play mainly to see the cars and not the stars or medals or aura or rank or whatever). I just focus on the cars themselves. I could care less about all the other things in the game. I’m such a car purist. And when you focus on the cars you notice a lot of details. And the GTO is such a fun car. I may retire it soon because I’ve reached the peak in its customization already. And focus on other car projects. But it’s really been such fun. Wallpaper with FULL SPECS Image size reduced, original size: 1024 x 640. Click here to view the image in its original dimension. [ Post merged on Apr 15 2016, 07:12 PM ] Was able to play again last night and made a new project car. Teaser video below. I had a special mission. And that was to retire Dead End. I replaced him with something equally sexy (watch Video below). This new car is just amazing. At 600HP I was able to pull ahead by some 800+ meters from the default ghost in the current OCM. At first I thought it was just me, but there were a few folks at the arcade last night who also asked to try it out because they’ve never tried it and were curious, and were equally impressed. Especially coming from a GTO background, the transition to this car felt very natural (because they’re similar in many ways). The car looks sexy hot (especially in the color I chose). This is my newest lookalike project car. And I don’t need dress up parts for this. It’s one of those cases similar to the Optimus Prime GT-R project where it’s just stock on the outside.
Cheers!

If there are two things that most boys will never grow tired of its CARS and ROBOTS. It doesn’t matter how old you’ve become there will always be that kid in you. That is why the Fast and the Furious movies sell. That is why Need for Speed games sell. And that is why Gundam toys sell. Just to cite a few examples. Image size reduced, original size: 664 x 1024. Click here to view the image in its original dimension. But if there’s one brand that brings the best of both worlds together, it’s none other than Transformers. The robots are the cars, and the cars are the robots. Nuff said. That is why Transformers is a phenomenal success be it toys, the movies, or the cartoon shows. Image size reduced, original size: 1024 x 576. Click here to view the image in its original dimension. And that is why when it comes to creating cars in Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune, I try to create for myself the best of both worlds. All my cars in the game are based on Takara’s Binaltech and Alternity lines of Transformer toys in Japan. Image size reduced, original size: 1024 x 723. Click here to view the image in its original dimension. Here is my latest one. My selection of car models is based on the criteria of whether or not they are Transformers and whether they look good. Vehicle performance in the game is only secondary consideration. As there is nothing to be gained by winning in a video game, choosing a high-tier car in the game is not necessary. The most important thing is that one enjoys his car collection. Image size reduced, original size: 1024 x 576. Click here to view the image in its original dimension. Just by looking at the cars in my game garage is such a rewarding experience. It is like looking at a ‘virtual collection’ of Transformers toys! Of course this doesn’t just happen overnight. It takes structural planning right from the start. I began with one or two cars then gradually build from there over the years. Now I have an army of Transformers in my garage! Kindly please check my signature. Kindly please stop your usage of the SWIPE name. Granted that there's no copyright law involved, this will cause confusion and mixed identities as most people here especially in Manila, know me as SWIPE.
Good day.

How many cars in this game are actually Left Hand Drives? If you look into the car from this view you can see the beautiful left hand drive! It would be noticeable right away if only the car was a top-down roadster version just like the Transformers toy. But there is a very strong reason why we don’t get top-downs in the game. And that is because we’ve got people of all ages, ethnicities, and genders playing this game. The presence of a top obscures the appearance of the driver. So then every player can imagine they’re the one seated in their car! Isn’t that great? And just like in the Transformer toy we have the Dodge Viper writing on the rear bumper of the car -- the word Dodge on the left and the word Viper on the right. They’re like embossed, so the visibility is not that high, and you have to look closely to read them. The devil is in the details! Image size reduced, original size: 1024 x 800. Click here to view the image in its original dimension. What the coupe version may lack in coolness compared to the “top-down look” of the roadster version is more than made up for by the beautiful lip wing that is molded into the trunk! Also, what at first may seem like the disappearance of the third brake light on the coupe version, that is otherwise obviously present on the roadster version, is not. The third brake light is just beautifully concealed in the rear Viper emblem on the coupe. So the Viper logo lights up and acts as a third brake light when I hit the brakes! Absolutely stunning! And the exhausts… they are nowhere to be seen on the rear of the car, because they’re on the sides of the vehicle. This is probably the only car in the game where you don’t see flames coming off the back of the car when you shift or play with the boost. Instead it spits fire from the sides! From the sides!! This car is brilliant! Image size reduced, original size: 1024 x 800. Click here to view the image in its original dimension. Of course supercars are for high speed courses. First try puts me right away on 2nd in the World Standings on Wangan Line East for this car type. Only 4 nanoseconds (is that term correct?) off the Top Spot occupied by a Singaporean player. The problem with this car is not the power. Forget all the reviews other players made about this car in the past. The problem is how the power translates onto the road. You see, one common problem muscle cars have is that they’ve got too much power the wheels tend to over spin. When wheels spin up you don’t have traction. It looks good on exhibition shows but it slows down the car. So the car has power, but the wheels just loves to over spin because of too much power. That is why this car is never really up there with the likes of the GT-R in terms of speed. But power it sure has. That is my assessment after driving the car. FACE TO FACE WITH THE VENOM SPITTING SERPENT | KNOWING YOUR DODGE VIPER SRT-10 The bonnet of a Viper SRT-10 is like its surname. Vipers that come from 2 different production lines for example, never wear the exact same bonnet design. Though to the untrained eye, they all look the same. There is this family of Viper SRT-10 that wears a bonnet design which is referred to within the Viper circles as the Shark Gills bonnet. Why they’re called shark gills is self-explanatory. They look like the gills on a shark! Each side of the bonnet has 5 slits that are pretty tight-knit. They’re not very pronounced. And they’re positioned further back of the bonnet. Both the Transformer Viper and the WMMT5 Viper fall into this family. So they’re spot on lookalikes! Yes my Viper IS truly Autobot Sideswipe in WMMT form! First I will post a photo of a real Viper SRT-10 that belongs to this family of Vipers, and then followed by the Transformer toy and of course my WMMT5 Viper (both of which were based on the real car). Image size reduced, original size: 1024 x 617. Click here to view the image in its original dimension. Image size reduced, original size: 1024 x 756. Click here to view the image in its original dimension. Now what about Viper SRT-10s that don’t belong to the Shark Gills family? Below is an example of a Viper SRT-10 that doesn’t belong to such a family. Like I said, to the untrained eye they all look the same. But look closely and pay very close attention to the cars and you will notice that they’re not. This one doesn’t have 5 slits on each side of the bonnet. It only has 3. And they are loose, they’re bigger, and they’re positioned more towards the front of the bonnet. The hole in the middle of the bonnet is also bigger. This one came from a latter production line of Viper SRT-10s. Image size reduced, original size: 1024 x 640. Click here to view the image in its original dimension. Cheers!
