Completed jap 6

Decided to ditch fd r spec setup in favour of r magic setup

2 friends were playing each other so i left them to their vices and ta instead, one kid sat in, i accept challenge and kid comes in for 4p battle. He demands c1 and no straights, ok sure at start everyone 3v1 slam the fk out of him while he swore at us and was left behind all the way haahaahaa biggrin.gif

It just feels so good to teach these scrubs their place smile.gif

Not a bad yesterday. Only got defeated by my friends on PvP battles.

Seriously, any tips on how to do brake blocking? I kinda noob at it.

im pretty bad at it but i can say the positioning of your car in relation to theirs is really important.

ideally you want to have the front of their car behind your front doors, if they're further back there's a risk of you slipping away and missing, i think.

offensive pushes are hard to pull when opponents are expecting

Apparently brake blocking if done correctly you can slow them further

Also here's how to burn
1. Get ahead at least 2-3m
2. Start blocking
3. Done correctly opponent will slow down, incorrect or wrong steering can get you slower or opponent will slide off from your block

Somehow my rage mode driving (all dirty moves/ offensive attacks) made me too tired to battle in the long run, I need to step up my psychological warfare on my Cosmo =P

WMMT5DX:
- Z34's Bingo is fully complete
- M6 is now baptized in battle

Friday:
went for the blue tacho, and got into some 1v3 VS. I initially thought that i really suck at VS since the others catch up really quick and my blocks miss, only to realize that the accelerator is almost busted (stuck at 1.5 boost, really slow 5th gear accel) so i ragequitted and left.

Oh broken cabs man those annoy me the most whether its the damaged steering wheel, the gear box or anything which costs you the game instantly.

1.8/1.9/2.0 is the minimum back in 3DX+ era. 1.5 is horrible. Damn you got stompers?

even in 3dx+ era cabs at my place usually end up with a broken LCD or shifter, accel was one of the most durable part of the cabs (until everything's broken and the arcade doesn't bother to fix it anymore), but haven't seen any stompers around since i've moved to SG.

Played today. Slowly grinding the dress up parts of the 370z. Out of all my cars, it's probably the most pimpable, next to the EVO8, since I'm trying to give my Supra that minimalistic look. Also got to play VS battles yesterday. Won one, then the 3 stood up, waited for me to finish, then sat down again. ._. I ain't good boys, nowhere being a pro.

apparently the first part to be broken was the shifters... then steering, but accel/brake pedals??

their foot probably made of steel or something fear2.gif

in the case of 3/3DX/3DX+ cabs.... the only good so far is the pedals in my place (next was card readers were to be broken after shfters and steering) =/

the shifter was first replaced with a screwdriver which worked quite well.. until someone had to break it again.
Steering wheel was replaced with a wheel which is about 1/3 of the original steering wheel (it's very responsive tho, one of the best steering i've ever used since you can turn very fast and stuff)
Since we were total noobs at the time, nobody used the boost trick and thus stepped on the pedal at all times (which is rather amazing that the pedals lasted so long) and was never repaired till the cab busted and was left in the corner of the arcade.

Journal for today:

Had a ghost battle against Ephexos' Z4 at Fukuoka. And some random ghost challenges.
Supposed to be waiting for VS Battle but the others left and the E10 user is kinda busy on his crown.
Finally fixed my Kobe run even with little mistakes.

For fun, I used MT to have TA at Hakone Out and C1 Out. Gonna need to get used to MT because I'm screwy on the gears. And updated Wangan ghost using MT.

I have to git gud even more.

That's all.
