Had tag battles in 5DX+ (as we don't get WMMT6 yet) with my teammate who do not touch the game for a long time.

Thinking I was going to lose the tag battle, I even said to my mate that we're going to lose. I was wrong.

Got 4 wins and 1 lose. Manage to score total win in C1 and Osaka. Both battles done in 180SX and R33

Good day good game tonight grin2.gif

Well I did it again.., started a jza70 today, got it to 11 in dress up and 680hp. I let the srt10 go to 6th slot and will get the r34 to ft a bit later on. I need to stop procrastinating on the evo3, r33 and get my priorities in line.

I had a quick escape during my lunch break at work today where I tried ghost battle (3 fully tuned 840HP cars) at the nearest game center. I thought playing 1 quick game plus a chance for the daily scratch off feature and wangan navi app check-in for a 100 mile points will set the mood back to work. As I feel tensed (becaused I just escaped from work grin2.gif ) I can't focus on playing and hit the center wall somewhere on the unusual C1 Outbound toll gate exit. And that race only made me earn 50 dress up points for being at 4th place instead of getting the perfect 300pts for the win.. Lesson learned - never play during work hours laugh.gif

arcades in the middle of the work day is NEVER a good idea. i went to university then switched to Vocational school a year later for better prospects. during that 1.5 year in university which was downtown AND near an arcade. needless to say some lunch breaks also included a few racing games and maybe an occasional late arrival to the next class because i lost track of time.

lesson: arcade visits are to happen ONLY when you dont have upcoming classes or work to do later on in the day.

I was just out to buy lunch then saw the cabs and terminal from the outside of that mall and pulled me in as I walk laugh.gif kinda uncomfortable since I'm the only adult inside that game center laugh.gif

Anyway, I'm spamming the ghost battles lately to get that Aero Kit I liked but it's taking a bit too long since most DU parts I'm unlocking mostly are the wheels.

EDIT:
it's pretty cool the last update made us earn 50 DU points even if we placed 4th on ghost battles and vs modes. 300 points is the highest if you got 1st place, 200 for second and 100 for 3rd. Before, you won't get anything from 4th place.

LOL the only time i felt unconfortable/embarrassed in an arcade was when my father noticed i was there and talked to my wondering why i was there during the middle of a race. back then the shopping mall had an arcade with the staple games i played: Soul Calibur 2-3, Initial D 2-3 and MT2-3. i said i was going to the mall and he went to the store nearby, the ID cabs were near the front windows and you could see the players. i wasnt in trouble but its not something i expected to happen there.

Ever wondered why you father was there too? He might be the other opponent, you just didn't notice grin2.gif when I was in my college days I was playing Daytona a lot. Then there was a time my father caught me in the mall still playing and late for my afternoon classes. He scold me in front of the other players..Well I think that's much embarrassing laugh.gif

I got the jza70 to 760hp until it got too busy to do story mode. The ocals were there making for a hard time to getva race in. Had some decent races even a Surprise 1st place. Used my other ft cars for the battles as 760hp max is just barely usable.

I'm starting to understand the jza70, its handling is similar to the r33 but seems to be sliding more with lighter handling.

Went to Heavy Montreal yesterday and today, open air heavy metal concert with many bands. I was able to finish early this Sunday and get some MT5. Not sure if it was a goid day or not. Got the JZA70 to 830hp but didnt prepare for the final turn on story mode 57. Hit the wall hard enough to lose the battle, RIP RED meter run. Will still try for the evO3 and the r33 to go red.

WMMT6:

- BCNR33 reached 840hp but busted a chance of getting a new meter due to failing early stages of story mode
- duly and mentally noted... make sure your steering and shifter is well fixed just because WMMT6 story AI logic is more brutal than WMMT4 and 5 series but not as brutally nasty than WMMT2
- Z34's status is still undefeated and probably go at doing DU runs until I get my replacement for Wing Type A and OZ Versilia rims otherwise I will probably slap dat new RAYS Grams Lights 57ANA

That damn final turn few meters before the goal is killing lots of players. I was a victim too on my R34. What I did with my FD and Evo8 is just released the throttle and swing the steering on full left and a little bit of steering control to keep distance from the walls. Brake is not necessary as it will slow you down and gives your rival a chance to catch up. 680-700HP will do.

This past weekend at TZ GB3...

--Used my FT ticket to make NSX (NA1)
--6 chapters left before 840HP + 24 consec. wins before red tach for Countach
--12'04"902 Metro Tokyo with NA1
--9'09"364 Metro Kanagawa with NA1

840HP time-attacking... not easy lol

Aiming to hit at least 12'03"9 and 9'08"8, respectively.

yeah, i didnt prepare properly for that turn. i didnt think it would slide that much for the corner and i turned a bit too late. its horrible for chosing the HP setting, a few races before that show a yellow or orange corner in the last 1KM. they lull you to sleep with a corner you think will be hard but isnt then nail you a bit later on... at this point i set the HP to the number of corners and most importantly the last 2KM of each race. the evil AI will find a way to mess you up if you go with the usual settings.

i did some minor Fukouka TA with the JZA70 and EVO3. the EVO3 is the winner for the red tach run, better handling than the supra. i did the first 6 races in round 2 looking for a yellow tach, didnt push my luck too far as story 8 has a red turn in last 2km... found out i never had the EVO3 for retire settings but a quick trip to the terminal fixed that. finished off with some races in Japan ch round 5 with the R33. i will likely try to tackle both evo3 and R33 at the same time but will do a ta run or 2 to get switched over to either car. i dont mind losing a race in JPC#5 but definitely not in story mode at this point.

Changed the message sticker at the back of the card to "AssPussy", and put a line under it. Yap, feels good.

Edit:
I find japanese version of ghost battles much more harder to complete than other wmmt6 regions. You need to complete every prefecture before you move to the next layer. Whereas the other wmmt6 regions just gets the gold chips on each country they defeat.

More liek NBGJpn trolls you to play Japan Challenge in their own backyard?

Their own version of Ghost VS Battles perhaps :shrugs: rolleyes.gif

Somehow they should be returning Japcha hopefully in the next updates of International version of WMMT6
