So, we have a problem. Locations are showing up with incorrect names. CHQ in Burnbay BC, Canada got the game, but look what the location shows up as.

It's likely the names were already registered into the server. So, it seems D&B will be getting MT5, but, those names are showing up at non D&B locations, and vice versa. I apologize for the mistake, we didn't know this at the time, but now we do.

What it seems to be is that a master list of final locations has already been registered into the servers, and what seems to be happening is machines are arriving at incorrect locations to the ones they've been registered too. Basically it seems like the IP id's for these locations is incorrectly link to a location name. Just some speculation.

Either D&B is getting MT5 at a later date, or they canceled their orders.

There's no way in hell D&B would have cancelled their orders this late into the game launch. It's probably what Pasta stated earlier.

Off topic here, but are you from Seattle? I saw a player yesterday make their car under the name PASTA, so I'm not sure if that was you.

There was an arcade that couldnt afford the online maintenance fee, so they cancelled mt4 order

Not sure why they cancel it last minute but another arcades got it and its under the last arcades name

Quick question (since I can't find this little nugget anywhere on the forums): Is there anyway to obtain the MT2 race meter on MT5?

Uh.....doesn't that unlock the carbon race meter that was introduced in WMMT3DX? Do you even know what I was referring to? I was referring to the race meter you get upon transferring an unshaded MT2 card to MT3.

The MT2 Racing Meter? Sadly you can't get it anymore. Same to the Special Meter.

The only tachs available are Yellow (first loop undefeated), Red (second loop undefeated), Blue (third loop undefeated), and Carbon (4th loop undefeated).

There is no possible way for American players. You would have need to transferred a single unshaded car from MT2->MT3->3DX->3DX+->MT4->MT5, which is not possible because America never got MT4.

Additionally, the time frame where transfers from 3DX+ to MT4 is long expired, even if you happen to travel to a foreign country that still MT4.

Actually wmmt4 in mainland China runs on its own server just like 5 in NA so yeah it won't work

Actually China is the only country still with mt4, so it doesn't matter if it's private or not cuz even if it's international u still can't with the rest of the world as there is no upgrade lol

Thanks to all of you for the info. I wanted to confirm since I notice other players in SoCal are completing more than 1 story mode loop and what didn't appear was the first race meter from MT2>MT3. I understand that this is only a process that would work if you had MT4 but I wish Bandai Namco would consider giving NA an opportunity to get an MT2>MT3 race meter. That's the best meter in my opinion.

Is there seriously no one else in the PA area?

US mt5 could have been dx plus but namco decided give it 3 years old game.....

Looks like Golf N' Stuff in Norwalk didn't get MT5. Such a shame, that place is nicer than Sherman Oaks Castle Park. It just doesn't have batting cages. Other than that it's a nice place to chill eat and play.......MT3.
