the only other "reward" is when you complete the page you get a (shitty) title like "25 Stamps!" or something.

How do you do the thing where if say someone is tailing you you swerve left and right in hope of having them hit your rear quarter where it boosts you and slows down the opponent? Do I have to slow down for it? When I ever I try it I just catch the opponent in my rear and I still have to escape rub off him normally.

just watch the metres thing you basically have to swerve and line your car up on the way back (right or left depending whatever way you turned first) so that they bump into you. tbh its easier to just wait for them to catch up by boost and block them. the only time i've seen that reliably done is in 2v2 when its you and your partner in 1/2 so they're cooperating to boost you.

5m - gas off and swing at their car so they clip the back of you and get boosted

4m - swing at their car so they clip yours and you get boosted

In 2v2 dynamic

5m - 1.5 or 1.8 gas, swing at your teammate's car so you get boosted

4m - swing at your teammate's car so they clip yours. It usually slows the person in 2nd place down

My teammate and I do it at 5m, where we both swing at each other; normally produces 40-50m advantage if done right (done it 5 or 6 times), but usually its hit and miss, so anywhere between 20-30m advantage is satisfactory.

As luck would have it, I accidentally lost midway in my second story loop.

There goes my red tacho.

So I have a question; if let's say DX gets upgraded to DX+, do I just need to complete the current loop to get it, or do I need to complete the current loop and another loop again?

From 4 to 5, 5 to 5dx, black mark would be erased. So maybe it's the same in 5dx+?

I'm assuming it will be erased, so for a yellow tacho you just need to complete the current loop. But what about red, blue, and carbon? Do we start back from the current loop as loop 1?

I suspect we need to restart the loop to get it, so, current loop + 1 (red) or 2 (blue) or 3 (carbon).

Umm so if it is not erased, you need to restart the loop like you said.
But if it is erased, then you just need to finish the current loop.
That's what I did from 4 to 5. I lost first time playing story 58 and I hate Shima ever since

If that's the case I'll just bide my time till DX+ shows up lol. I have phobia with Akio on the final stage. He was always less than 10m behind me at goal whenever I tune a new car.

830hp in story 60? That's what I do

I use 760 to be safe since the goal is very near a red corner.

i always use auto and Balance setting... for story mode...

Do 720hp setup on story mode... anything higher might screw you over and either Devil Z or Blackbird will trollolololol you over

Plan B comes when you just need to do a rear-end blocking if AI car does boost like in the case of stage 60 Devil Z doing trollolol boost on last few KM

on that note yeah i usually play 700 for story mode, earlier stages i take the first balanced power (one more than the grip settings)

you have to shuttle 1x with 1 friend, 2x with 2 friends, 3x times with 3 friends etc.

Yeah use balance setting is safer and smarter. I just use 830 in last story for practice

Yeah second loop. I played using typical HP settings for practice, except the last one as mentioned.

I got screwed sometimes because Yokohane could become C1 towards the end. Boy I freak out when I'm 830 on C1.

Yes... you get a new custom color every 60 games....

In WMMT5DX... changing custom colors is easier now by going to the Wangan Terminal

From WMMT3 series to WMMT5 you just need to Fully dressup your car for every dressup gauge is full otherwise if your car is not Fully Dressup... you have to wait till 60th game to change colors
