I do it because trying to half throttle just puts too many things in my head.

And depends. Many seemingly sharp turns can be taken flat out.

Honestly depends

you're better off learning each track first by watching TA videos and trying to apply what you learn there into your game

Had seen my friend of mine race and wow so good at the curves in an RX-8. I could need more practice on the curves like C1.

I'm a seasoned Wangan player(Favourite map is Hakone) and from my experience, You don't need to put your foot on the break pedal for most of the sharp turns. Just slightly decelerate a few seconds before the turn if possible go all the way to the side opposite from the turn(E.g. if the turn is heading right ->>, you want to stick to the left right before the turn. Doing this gets me 2:27 most of the time and also Hakone King at most places.
