Is it unusual to be offered the title "wangan beginner" after a time attack or is it just a glitch? i was TA'ing today and that title was offered to me. is this a glitch??

was it at Hakone? as i can recall if u did "111 at the back at Hakone u can get WANGAN BEGINNER...

In Hakone, most TAs with triple number tails (or special numbers like "728, "765, etc) will result in the machine offering you "Wangan Beginner" for title..

But getting "666 on Outbound (correct me if I'm wrong) will result in the machine offering you "Emperor of Hakone" for title, and "111 for Devil Z.

Too bad that "999 didn't give you the title of "the Hakone Galaxy Express" again.. Too bad lols.. I wanted that title of mine, back in the old MT2 days >,<

hey my RX-7 FD got "The Lion Like Flying Dragon" for finishing lvl40 story mode unshaded.

Level 40 unshaded?

thats new... never got anything finishing up to level 60 unshaded =(

i was offered "The Hanshin Naniwa" after my TA, with time ending in .728..

i guess you're using a FD3S Type R Bathrust R...

btw for hakone i got "wangan beginner" for 777 & 999 at TA

there was some discussion on it a few pages back

I still can't get the "Can't Use Highway Card" title.. is there a specific kilometer to retire? please tell me. i've been wanting to get this title.

Retire inside the toolbooths of Yokohane Downward. Easy enough. When you see them, just slow down, turn around and retire.

Why it's called naniwa.. I finally found out why..

7 = nana
2 = ni
8 = hachi

take the first pronounciation out from the numbers..

7 "na" 2 "ni" 8 "ha". In japanese words, "ha" can also be read "wa"

that's why it's called "naniwa" lols..

Are these titles for the Japanese version, or the American version?

I also managed to try to pry out some titles in Osaka yesterday; was able to get one.
