I saw someone get Tokyo Onsen Story before, he was TAing NBL CW...I think the retire point is the area with the blocked off road before going into the underwater tunnel (where you will hit the top speed).

EDIT: Based on the Wangan West TA videos on Youtube...the retire point is 19.4km.

I'll try Tokyo Onsen Story later..I'm pretty sure it's that location I mentioned, but I'll try it later when I go out for dinner

Oh, and it's not really a new title (I mentioned it before long time back but didn't know how to get it but i got it again so i took a pic):



I still can't produce Warm Up Laps consistently though....there's nothing special I did throughout the run either.

Onsen story, if i'm not mistaken, is RIGHT after you enter the first tunnel on NBLCW/Westbound

warm up laps is probably doing metro ta x number of times

there was a title like that back in MT2

how to obtain that title??????

Isn't "Hakone Emperor" (acquired through 10 Outun) almost the same thing as "Emperor of Hakone" (acquired through TA)?

Also curious: I just got my Z33 "raven" back, but I couldn't reacquire the "Wangan Emperor" title, even though I got an S-Rank on Stage 10. What gives?

i mean, maybe its a 12,222,XXX..... ofcourse i know that he/she runs a time attack..

Maybe he's done the course a few times but retired on all of them before completing this one?

did you do EVERY single outrun for wangan and get S? you gotta do em all mate.

To get the emperor titles for Outruns, you need to finish all 10 levels of any course.

Tokyo Onsen Story: Wangan West, Day, 19.3 km. Right before the first tunnel.
Avoid Yokosuka: Wangan West, Day, 1.1km, Right after the left turn.

Come Back: Fail chapter 14, Loop 2 (I think. No idea what loop that guy was doing, basically he had the Car > Family one before... I'm too lazy to check. ) [Okay, I checked. Its loop 2, =P]

Nope, I didn't retire at all before completing that run....

EDIT:

He did say he couldn't reacquire the title, meaning he had it before but he changed it...

I think those "_________Emperor" titles from 10 outrun are all one-shot deals, meaning if you turn them down when offered/changed your title, you can't get them anymore. Same for the "Metropolitan Champ/Fighter/Emperor" titles...

I retired like 10 times on metro highway.. and didnt get it.

New title at C1 Outbound. "Broker". Retire at 5.2 km. Night. Got it for my RX-7 earlier but changed it.

On one of the mucking around of the GG3P, managed to get the Worthless boyfriend title...don't know how I got that...

I do remember I was doing story mode but don't know which stage though...but I did do a few TAs after that so it could be either a lose story mode or a TA retire title...

if anything, its loosing on stage 71 i think. The one where makoto is introduced, when she's driving the gc8 with her boyfriend in tow.

I can't exactly remember, but i found a title by accident running a TA on osaka. Here's a rough idea of how i got it

It was the first corner (where the barrels are) turn where i retired.

TETSUKEN TOWER
