I also got Unbreakable King by racing people w/ unshaded cards...

You get unbreakable king by staying in front of everyone in battle majority of the race.

When you say Osaka, about 13km, is it 13km into the race, or 13km left?

Since the game measures how many km are left, I would think it's the latter? ermm2.gif

Like you know how Osaka is 18km in total? You know..? when it goes down to 13km from 18km? I guess 13km left, but as I said, its around 13km...I'm not accurate of what the actual KM is...could be 13.3km or 13.5km.

I witness today someone who recieved "Unbreakable King" By staying in front of everyone and consistently blocking whoever tried to pass him up.

Oh?

Coz I tried by having a battle on Hakone. Both cars (2P race here, both unshaded) passed each other quite often...and the winner got unbreakable king. Thats why I wonder if the "consistent" part can be doubted.

if you block enough, you'll get it.

@ remie, black rain is not at 13km.. its probably slightly more or less.
i didnt get the title at 13.

btw, that The *course* naniwa title, what does Naniwa mean? lol

coz i'm the Highway Naniwa now. XD

I'm keeping getting the Yokohane Attacker now... maybe I should stop being so good by getting new records... my most recent, on my R34, was today with:

2'58''824

But I was beaten by my R32... which is:

2'58''800

LazyDrifter is going for the TA challenge.

I promised him that if he got to 2'50''500, I'll give him $20.

Osaka was formerly known as Naniwa. Naniwa was the capital of Japan from 683 to 745.

Naniwa is also the Tokyo-Osaka express train route. It was ceased operation on October 1968. Little information is available regarding this route and express train and I suspect "728" is the length of the railway track from Osaka to Tokyo...

LOLZ... There was like hundreeds of cars registered daily in Osaka...
Most probably it's the train thing.

There's also another Naniwa related title, which is "Naniwa Soul"
Got it by completing Stage 42, third loop.

Honestly, I don't think it has to due whether the fact your car is unshaded or not. Why? Because I dont that what you do in storymode affects what you do in battle.

My prediction on how to obtain "Unbreakable king" would be:

- Stay in 1st the whole race, but as others said that would lead to "Fend off maniacs"

or

- Stay in first and block opponents that try to pass you.

So far, I've seen player battles between all unshaded cars (regardless it was 2 way, 3 way or 4 way) and the winner always gets awarded "Unbreakable King" without fail. And these are battles where everyone keeps passing each other too (boost on).

I've never seen Unbreakable King awarded to my Evo9 (which is shaded) when I fulfill the second criteria you mentioned (and I have done so a few times already)

EDIT: It could be a special battle title for unshaded cars...I mean, not everyone can do all of story mode undefeated. Just my $0.02.
