Japanese machines have a feed to directly record.

Oh is that so? But most of the brand new DX cabinets we have here are also made by Namco Japan? Shouldn't we have the AUX port as well?

No, you got international cabinets.
I'm talking about the ones with Japanese language, Gemballas, smoke when taking a turn, etc.

Not everyone takes videos of their runs. HAMAN is the fastest for C1 OB and Nagoya, but there are no videos of his runs at all.

Now that you mention it, I was wondering why their is smoke coming from his tires. Heh, I guess all we get are skidmarks only tongue.gif

Can you confirm this? Japanese have done direct feed videos for years and years since the 80s by simply splitting the video output in the cab to run on another (normally very big) screen. This is normally used in tournaments/contents etc. This way they can also route it thru receivers and video recorders, etc.

Unless you have an actual picture of this so called output port I don't believe it exists.

Anyone in any country can make a video like that provided they have the equipment and the access to the inside of the cabinet.

Knowing the Japs giving everyone else something that ain't as good as theirs, maybe their internal machinery is just easier to get around.

Hmm well it's quite simple.

Look at this pic: This is Sega Lindbergh which is almost identical to the hardware MT3DX runs on.

See the video output??? Just a simple splitter between that and the monitor will work.

Sadly... I wanna check out their lines. Even JAKIE's C1 OB video has been removed.

Why else would we only see the Japanese videos with quality this good?

From what I've read it, it's in the back or the bottom or something.

Yeah that's what I mean. They obtain this quality by splitting the output directly from the cab. I have not heard of an actual output on a cabinet before, remember there must be at least 2 (3 for stereo) outputs also so you can have audio too.

To set up a TV or Project connecting to a DX cab is kind of easy. Well but take times.

Is like connecting you PC to the TV
Except is not HDMI but the standard PC connection.
I can't tell more. Because I didnt see everything what they did to connect the projectors. pinch2.gif
