I started my job #2 last week as a game tester. Sooo much fun! It's a bit frustrating because I want to play through the game but I need to concentrate on finding bugs >=/

Unemployment hell will end, one way or another!

Interview tomorrow for a grocery store, exam on Saturday for a library.

Looks like my last chance for a job is at a 7-11...granted, it's close to my house, but I'm looking at waking up early for a 7am-3pm shift, or throwing my whole day away with a 3pm-11pm shift.

Wake up early. You adjust and it's worth it because you'll still get a good 6-7 hours before you start to chill out to go to sleep.
When school is in session, I go to sleep around midnight and wake up at 6 AM. School is from 7 to 2, so I get a good 10 hours to do whatever I want, I normally head into my room at 10 or 11 though.

Trust me, it may take some adjusting, but it'll quickly just become routine for you.

You'll regret the 3-11 if you take it.

lol, you guys. I'm happy today. I just got PROMOTIONS XD

I work at a swimming pool teaching lessons etc, today the main coach approached me to become a junior squad coach. Not bad, bit of a pay rise and an easier job. The odd thing is though, I'll be taking my old swimming coach's job. Who's going to coach me >< I'll have to swim by myself... Good money though. ATM i'm making $25 an hour which is great for casuals.

I agree with Atmos to take that morning shift.

When I get morning shifts for my job (5a-130p), I get excited considering my regular shift at 2p-10p is kinda wasting away the whole day. 1-2 hours into the shift, I feel pretty awake without the help of caffeine (but then again, I don't drink caffeinated drinks =P ). After some adjustment, you'll be like '7am shifts aren't THAT bad tongue.gif '

Good luck with everything!

Had an amazing time with my friends today.

Played 1000 Blank White Cards, then screwed around, then went to a riverbank in the park.

One of said friends is a new crush of mine's =)
If I see her tomorrow, I'm gonna attempt to ask her out...I've known her for a total of 3 days, I'm gonna get this over with.

I semi-asked her out (I asked if she wants to hang out, not go out, with me *facepalm*), and said she might not since she'll be somewhat busy this week.

To me, it's not a date if you don't say it's a date, or if she doesn't think it's a date.

@RB33- I never stated that I was a Looove Doctor. laugh.gif But I am pretty OK at analyzing stuff if others want a different point of view on things. I'm happy to do it though! ...but don't take my insights too seriously since it may not work out for some.

gs68- Good luck! Asking to 'hang out' is far less intimidating than an actual asking for a date for both parties anyway.

cip-mimnunk- Usually she'll take it as just 'hanging out' unless YOU make it seem like a date. Good luck to you too!

gs68, here what u do ask her 2 hang out only the both of u & then go & have a great time enjoy urself thats the key & then get 2 know her a little better find out what she like & then become the sweet guy 4 a bit (thats the wait time) & then pop the question

cuz this give the both of u time 2 get 2 know each other & become good friends & that she can share her problems with u & u can be in her shoes & comfort her & make her feel better, so u be come sweet

& rb33, i am the love doctor

A friend of mine's taught me a confidence-building tactic:

Go to a cafe, bar, or other relatively social place you never go to, and just go up to a girl and ask her out. Ignore whether she says "yes," "no," or "you're creepy," the point, accoridng to my friend, is to garner the courage to ask a girl out.

I've yet to try this out...what if a girl I'm only kinda into says yes, and I end up getting drawn into a relationship I don't want (somehow)? Not to mention that I'll pull myself away from my current crush.
