There hasn't been any updates, this week.

I wouldn't be surprised if the next announcement is the demo.

Well... it turned out there being an announcement the day after my last post, here, but it didn't say anything about the demo.

This week's announcement, however, did announce the demo release date; Gold members gets the demo earlier than the free Silver members. The special date for the demo is October 2 and everybody else gets to play it on October 7, four days before official release.

I better get a 3-month, soon.

As for garage updates:

2007 SEAT Leon Cupra
2005 Scion tC
2009 Renault Twingo Renault Sport Cup
1995 Audi RS2 Avant
1997 BMW M3
2004 Cadillac CTS-V
1997 Acura NSX
2001 TVR Tuscan S
2002 Lotus Esprit V8

Oh, good. Even without Porsche licencing fees, the wheels still have a prohibitive cost-of-entry. Not necessarily saying that the technology isn't worth it, or that I "need" to have a German car emblem on my wheel to want to use it (it certainly was prettier before, though). Still want one. But I guess it's just one more poke in the eye stemming from EA's desire to stick their shit finger into everything.

God help Mass Effect 3...

I play without the wheel, since I don't own one, and I gotta say... I'm not going to play Forza 3 the same way, ever again.

The simulation steering is that good.

So... is it worth it?

Not that it's going to change my decision... I've already invested way too much in this game. wink2.gif

I think you need XB:L Gold to get it... which I don't. Which means I'll be waiting another 7 days since I don't really care to upgrade something I don't use too often.

Shattered as LOL, can't you cancel the pre-order and then pre-order again at JB?

Is limited edition worth the extra $25 then?

Downloading the demo, I'll play it after I finish watching Dragon Ball. Not expecting a huge improvement, but my buddy has the full version, said it was way better than FM3, physics wise, but still behind GT5. We'll see.
