By brake blocking, I mean when someone pushes you into barriers or slowing you down intentionally.

I agree so, but they're a good way to practice.

2 HK style battles are good warmups to get your senses broken in.

this doesnt work for me nor does it really work ON me

640/HG on a cosmo euros with full boost means my break block will slow me down alot more then i already am, but that's only if we play to the finish line

i break block with 640/HG when im playing full contact till times out

It depends actually. If you against pros then you don't have to worry about it but if you play against noobs, and people that do not usually play WMMT, that's no good.

But tbh, I kinda hate when some players slowing me down, preventing me catching other players dry.gif

Agreed, positional blocking is the worst when it's a 4 way battle free for all.

If someone is slowing u down for their partner, technically it's not a free for all anymore tongue.gif

Brake blocking is fair.

However I do get extremely annoyed. Not as much as a side press into a wall at the last km.

Many players use it to win, like before the corner, you brake block him in order to turn freely and not get passed. Good for competitive FFA battles.

Timezone Liverpool:

BRO DONT F**KING BLOCK YOU F**KING CHEATER DONT PLAY DIRTY YOU DOG C*NT! *drives into you anyway*

Its part of the game and people need to learn that there are no rules about not allowing brake blocking.

To prevent passing is fine, anything more is excessive.

I agree, play to win is one of the factors here in battles.

I have a different definition of brake blocking. I myself think that brake blocking is simply blocking with the use of brakes.

I'm alright with all forms of blocking though, heck, I encourage players to block me as much as possible in boost on battles. I do a lot of blocking myself too but I rarely use the brake, unlike before my retirement where I was able to use the brakes wherever I can.

Brake Blocking is fair. People will do anything for a win.

It's just.. hard to counter. Especially for new guys like me who doesn't know stuff on VS. Guy in front already knows the whole map layout and knows how to speed thru corners and I'm there struggling to DODGE THE FREAKING PAJERO

might be tricky at times but it's possible to counter.

I remember when I played with fkn when he was here in Cebu, most of the time when he blocked me I literally glued my car's nose to his side and kept taking the hits until an opening arises, and then I can slip by

Honestly, as far as brake blocking goes over here; It rarely even happens to me, so I really don't care if somebody attempts to, and its not really a tactic I use personally in ghost battles and in-store vs, most people I usually vs are OP stuck-up idiots or GUESTS

Though back in Txr those damn leaders did it all the time...ugh...
