Damn I got trolled.

at the moment its just a daily with bits and bobs i plan to track it when i get a 2way lsd in.

yeah its really light modded but its enough to get past 4cyls and the occaisonal standard r32 gtr's, r33 gtr's and keep up with r34 gtr's. still pretty good for a 4 door, considering it only has a side mount intercooler, is 2.5 instead of 2.6 and has a single turbo instead of a twin setup. For me thats enough to say im happy. Imagine if i get my tomei exhaust manifold put on, buy a front mount intercooler and buy a aftermarket bolt on turbo or highflow my existing one.

today a Spin turn nob (drift button) came in the mail.





Ok lets try put it on!

It took me awhile to put in because the handbrake cover was glued on. i used a hairdryer to soften the glue because i dont have a heat gun. took a while but then it came off.

it says to bend the lugs out to let the spring drop down but what for? i just unscrewed the old hand brake button and took out the spring.



After a bit i started thinking if i should bend the lugs in but i didnt because my car is a daily and it would be easier if i just unscrewed the nob and took the spring out when needed.
i slid the cover back on and tried it without the spring and it was good but i do need the lock as my car is a daily.

all together now and still has spring inside, lugs arent bent and ok to use. overall its a good little drift nob that ill be needing later. i was following instructions but it would of been easier to twist off the nob and put the new one in but i didnt know the purpose of those lugs until later.

Next mod: tomei expreme exhaust manifold - its still in japan and waiting for jesse streeter to send it over.

So a big box came in today. wonder what it could be...

Looks ok in the photo but it needs a sand down and a new coat of paint because at the moment it looks like its been can sprayed...looks abit homo with my front bar its not low enough


I also got a clutch from Andrew at kudos motorsports. it was the cheapest i could find also he threw in free post + alignment tool + scopot bearing free of charge!

I have made my return....
I was searching for locations for wmmt4 and i stumbled upon this website again and remembered i had a thread here so i decided to revive this thread and continue playing the arcade machine!

while ive been away ive been very busy and short of money but ive been making my way up and working hard. i havent had time to post much and update but here goes nothing.
Ill try keep this post short
So my car had its up and downs and started to look missile.

In may 2011 i started to gather as much or as little cash as i could and a front bar and lip


In august 2011 side skirts

In november i puchased K&M Missile front guards sadly i didnt get to take photos because how busy i was back then but you will see them soon.

january 2012 I got some used Ganadors for cheap. That afternoon myself and a friend installed them and the front bar and lip. We held the middle with cable ties because it was wobbly.



January 2012 i did some extra over time and bought myself a Blitz SE intercooler


we had to leave the front lip off because it was getting late and i didnt have time to muck because of a wedding.


March 2012 I took it to my friends shop Bodyform.
During this month my friend took a while because he had other cars to get out. so my car took a while. I didnt rush him because he works by himself.

April 2012 my friend finally finished my car and in time because my wheels arrived from japan as well. I couldnt get my wheels from the post office because there was a public holiday and everything was closed. so i ask my friend if he could open the gate to his work shop and grab my car.



April 2012 Next working day when everything was open again. i went to the post office and got wheels. I got to the post office a little early and hoped i was first inline. i wasnt =[

after that i took them back to my friends shop again and he made some calls to get some cheap tyres. Ended up with Nitto INVO's 225/40/18


i was Happy with my car but i felt it didnt stand out enough. i asked my friend if he had canards. he sure did. Vertex ones aswell. i trial fitted them and where sold on them.

that night i was soo happy my friend(who was also modding a chaser) celebrated with late night kebabs ahah

July 2012 I saved a shit of money to get a full respray. i wouldnt do it myself because itll look so shit. My friend modding the other chaser knew a place where i could get our cars resprayed.


August The car wasnt even close to being started because of all the other work the paintshop had to do. So in that time i didnt have much spare money to play with and i wasnt supposed to spend it but i thought "meh" went out and got new plates for the car.

I found out later that month my car would miss out the show and shine at world time attack challenge sydney. I was devastated because all the jzx people from other states came to sydney to make it a national meet and i was car-less =[ I got my car 2 days after the event and felt the exterior was unbalanced. i went back to my friends shop and asked if he had anything he said he had matching side candards made by vertex. snapped them up in an instant



September I was sick of scraping and bumping everything on the road with my TEIN spring and shock combo. There was a lot of over time that month so i worked my ass off and ended up with some BC BR coils

We spent a whole night installing these. all the nuts and bolts havent been moved and loss of tools aswell lol

That month made up for World time attack challenge because i was able to debut my car and my good mates car at a show and shine.












Since then not much has happend. Until recently there has been word of another jzxnational meet in South australia. The even is called All Japan day. Thats 1400km or 870miles and 16hrs of driving. Ive started saving for maintenance parts and general parts i need. short notice but i hope all the parts get here and i get there in early march.

that's an uber-cool Chaser you got there, man. The funny thing is that it looks as if you completely ripped that car off the virtual realm of WMMT and brought it into the real world
