I was hyped up, but I have feeling car culture would mean hellaflush and the hideous bodykits that are trending today.

I thought this as well, I don't mind the sorta stuff in the current car culture but give us back the proper rice

Hopefully the kits can go either way, race style or stance style idk lol

Yeah agreed, personally I like a bit of everything myself, but because it is like that my tastes entirely are very split.

That feels too, I don't mind the current car culture at the moment, but we know ricing our car was the shit back in the day

anyways,i hope Ghost Games will nail the game right...And having every bit of different styling sure to bring out the diversities...

I mean,it's not everyone likes hollafloshed/stonced or rice track mods or stock doo doo look on their car roight?

Maybe it's the killer NFS that will rise from the ashes of past or just another messed up game from EA....EA,pls delivar..

As long as the customisation is on point and the game is fun to play I really don't mind

Same really. I love RWB but despise LB and Rocket Bunny with a passion. I think the latter are crass, but I like AbFlug's stuff.

Maybe because I grew up with that sort of style.

But I can't f'ing stand rivets and retro style flares on newer cars except porsches.

But I think this game will turn out like the Crew. I hope I'm wrong.

Well it seems that the types of eras explored in the new NFS will also include past creations.
Also there is confirmation that LibertyWalk will be in the game, since there isn't any LibertyWalk found in the teaser.

Fan driven development. LB is definitely going in.

Most fans today would be stancenation kids. Speedhunters involvment. Don't get me wrong, they have excellent content like insights on Japanese car culture (not that American car culture is inferior), but most of their fans will be those monster energy, drifting obsessed flat brimmed kids. Nothing wrong with that, but all of you know too well on my stance on drifting.

All in all, I think this will be an enjoyable game for everyone except myself. And I only have myself to blame for that.

So there's going to be an always-online connection regarding the game's "narrative". Keep in mind that Rivals has offline gameplay and only automatically adds you to an AllDrive server and join a session, so this is a new shift.

Any chance this can be intepreted wrongly, or is it going to end up like SimCity reboot?

The customisation is on point

rokcet bunnies, rwb, liberty walks, everything....and oh lamborghini huracan is there for those who don't know and didn't see the e3 trailer

Wee all the shit i dont like.

Rivet flares are ok on classic cars which dont have them integrated to their design not on newer cars which have wide flares and stance ffs.

No REA, no FEED, no AbFlug.

If its like the SimCity reboot,you can bet people will be mad crazy when the servers is overloaded or some shit...

There is a reason why SimCity did REALLY bad...I blame the CEO's and share holders....I know they're trying to protect it from "dem pyrites" but that 'Always Online DRM' has never and never ever will work properly because you're constantly trying to verify that you're the owner...

Also a simple protip : Don't and i mean DON'T preorder games from now on..Why exactly?Well take a look at Batman Arkham Knight and the shitstorm it caused...It even gotten taken down from steam from any more purchases until Warner Bros and Rocksteady fix their shit...

I'd rather wait for the game to get released officially and see everything in there

Since Speedhunters played a big part in this game's development, I'm hoping Dino Dalle Carbonare did his homework for JDM mods

Wasn't NFS Rivals also an online only game? I don't hear much problems from there.

Pre ordering is dumb for AAA games. Better to wait till after unless you want to support a project on kickstarter or one of the crowdfunding. That's investment, pre order is well...pre order

Always online is fine so long it doesn't affect performance or gameplay in anyway, like Steam syncing

I just REAAALLY hope this NFS does live up to hype...

I hope so too. That guys content is like pornography to me.

But then again the rest of speedhunters are well.. For me personally. Dont feel like restarting a half year old argument war.

also NFS on origin (current preorder price) 80 bux..

after what ive seen lately with games im not gonna buy til i hear something about it from reviewers and something from friends or other people online

disappointed with new COD, new BF .... really only GTA5 has been a newish game out that i've really enjoyed

From what I recall it isn't, since I bought the game for 360 and I don't have XBL and I was able to play fine.

But I think the online aspect in rivals was doing the career mode and having live comparisons in each race to your friends or something.
