The news is abit late, but still. a new TXR is possible!
Genki has issued a statement on the company's official twitter English translation: If you want to put out a new work "Shutokou Battle" in Co. Genki, please Retweet this! Opinions and requests to the new "Shutokou Battle" We also look forward to! (If a number of retweets gather, it becomes the green light to the development!) A new TXR since ITC back in 2006. What do you think? |

Good news everyone! Just a few days ago, Genki (the dev) seemed to be giving away a car in a raffle, this may not seemed much but when you take a closer look...
  GRP(Genki Racing Project), Genki's racing game division has been defunct since around 2008. Draw your own conclusions there. Furthermore, this article was posted. http://www.4gamer.net/games/054/G005495/20150724104/ Google translate is inaccurate, but it seems that Genki is serious about a revival, and may have already begun development! Massive year and a half bump here, but Genki put out the website ((www).sb-x.jp) on their Twitter three hours ago with a countdown for something. Description for the site mentions their past games too; so hopefully it's not a mobile game like the art might suggest

Considering Genki isn't as big as other game companies like Namco or Capcom, I somewhat does not surprised.
Might be a good start for TXR series revival, who knows it might come to console someday. |

yeah considering the GFC f**ked them and they need good earnings for a proper TXR title I'm fairly sure this mobile game is part of the long game
company strategy and shit I'm just hoping they think there's enough demand for a proper PS4 title at the very least, but TXR for the PC would be fantastic |
