pulled the engine because it locked up turned out to be debris that clogged oil strainer, was running prior. only thing damaged was rod and main bearings and crank DID NOT damage anything else though.

also i threw in a 3.90 vlsd.

i need a wide band. this week im going external wastegate, once all is done I'll get tuned and take rolling shot vids.

HKS external wastegate is on, opens at 15psi, goes from

psssttttttt braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

i love it its like the Vtec of the boost world. have a SLEIGHT SLEIGHT studder at around 3k under heavy load once boost kicks in it clears up and pulls hard from 3k all the way to 6krpms

going to be switch to 3.54 high way gears very soon.

too many problems too many issues im going 2jz eventually, gonna throw a holset HX super 40 on it and call it a day.

WOW it has been a LONG while since I updated this thread holy smokes. lots of stuff getting done. this is a quick run down.


- blew two engines and then finally found "the golden engine" a turbo 7.8:1 vg30et with less then 20k miles in the junkyard (re-manufactured?)
-external wastegate
-contemplated 2jz swap
-contemplated 20b swap
-contemplated RB25 swap
-contemplated L30ET swap

-walbro 255lph install etc etc

-Q45 vlsd and axle swap (because i broke a axle stub)

got and installed hood shocks best purchase I've ever made,

installed my new KA 2 row radiator. looks good.

and got my fender flares.









buying my RB20 next month.
