To send a report takes more than just pressing the 'report' button. You have to press the report button, then completely ignore the screen that says "PLEASE TYPE WHY YOU ARE REPORTING THIS POST" and all the other references to "REPORT THIS POST" on the page and actually click the button marked "REPORT POST" to confirm. Note that the report page looks
completely different from the post page, being totally lacking in emoticons or formatting or anything else typical to the post window.
In short, there's no need for an 'undo report' function because most people, even if they click 'report' instead of 'quote', would realize their mistake well before actually submitting said report.
Let's illustrate. First, here's what happens when you click 'Quote'.
