Mods, or possibly the admins, if any of you guys received a report on a comment from me, please disregard it, because I clicked on 'Report' by accident. Yes, stupid mistake in my part, but please disregard it if it comes in your notifications.

And also I'd like to request an undo option for reporting so that cases like this might not occur again.

To send a report takes more than just pressing the 'report' button. You have to press the report button, then completely ignore the screen that says "PLEASE TYPE WHY YOU ARE REPORTING THIS POST" and all the other references to "REPORT THIS POST" on the page and actually click the button marked "REPORT POST" to confirm. Note that the report page looks completely different from the post page, being totally lacking in emoticons or formatting or anything else typical to the post window.

In short, there's no need for an 'undo report' function because most people, even if they click 'report' instead of 'quote', would realize their mistake well before actually submitting said report.

I was wondering the same thing too.

Here's what happened:

1. Being away from the forums for a while, I forgot that the Reply button is at the bottom, and I was supposed to click Quote, but accidentally clicked REPORT instead.

2. I typed in my post in the thread and subconsciously clicked Submit Report when I thought it was Add Reply, thinking that I was actually writing up a post in the thread.

3. I checked back in the thread to see if my post went through, but it wasn't there. I realized it too late that I submitted a Report instead of the post I was supposed to... post.

Sorry again for not making it clear of how it actually happened. Was already half asleep when I was writing the post, so... stupid me and my mistakes.
