damn... those pic looks better than the game itself...

Games have just gotten to a point where they look photo real. I can't believe the graphics these new machines are capable of. The courses now look really stunning. And they're rendering the drivers now. thats really nice. I just wish I could afford a PS3 for this...

graphix is very good...(as any1 wud expect from a ps3 game)

gameplay.... omg.... 4+mins @ max speed.... with minimal turns.... don't u get bored playing this game??

no because what you don't see or realize is the smooth driving line maintaining top speed and also very very delicate throttle control to keep engine just on the border of detonation. Its so sensitive that if your mind "thinks" about letting off a little pressure from the R2 button then you will notice a change in speed even though you don't think your finger moved at all. This game has much more depth in the way you control the gas and brakes, things that you have to take into account for efficiency would be when accelerate on a downhill section instead of wasting gas on uphill. Unlike max tune where the straight sections are boring as hell because all you do is mash the pedal, the ps3 version there is quite a bit of strategy involved when battling online in straight sections. Its about the timing of when you push the accelerator and also how close you are able to push your car's limit before the engine explodes. All this then is compounded by the SP gauge (life bar). Example is someone overboosting to near detonation on downhill to get a quick gap in distance, causing your SP to decrease. However his penalty would be during the cooling down period where his speeds needs to drop significantly below your crusing threshold if say you kept your engine at the edge of overheating zone and slowly got up to a much higher constant cruising speed. There's too much strategy to talk about actually, but best if you played online to see yourself.

yeah my bad... i didn't read the wmps3 thread about the engine blowout feature when i posted earlier...

but anyway, id wish the tracks will be like wmmt3 wit the features of this game... makes it more challenging..

ah so rolling guy isn't a character from Wangan. Thanks! I was thinking it was a bit strange of an 86 to be in Wangan. And I agree with Jon. You can instantly tell the road you're on!

Being stupid here so don't mind me, Would that Speed King be there? If so I'm getting myself a PS3 and WMMT3 straight away. I love going head to head with him, 3 : 1 his way LOL...

I never played TXR so not sure which characters you guys are talking about. Can you describe speed king's car? I would say that all the unique cars from TXR are in the game and can be unlocked in the 100 race survival mode. Also all the cars that are in the wangan manga are also in the game such as the green FC, silver aristo, celsior, 6 speed orange race spec s30, old mkII supra, first gen celica, red fc, evo3, evo4, 300zx, R34, all R200 club cars, two FD's, and still a few more cars including the big rig from manga who made akio crash.

Well, Speed King drives either an R34 GTR or in the newer games a new Sti. Blue, with kanji on the side. The GTR kinda looks like a JGTC car, and the Sti just looks like an Sti with graphics all over it.

Is this it? I'm pretty sure all the TXR cars are in it. Maybe its not as recognizable since i modified the exhaust and rear spoiler.

WOW!! i just got the game and i was just expecting it to be a simple wm storyline but i had no idea there was so much to unlock and so much more depth there was to the game. WOW. im really speechless.

Lol, so old Jintei is in WM as well...have you come accross a crazy red R34 Skyline GTR, that is done up like Char's custom Zaku from Gundam?

That would be Red Devil...my favourite TXR driver.

Heh, Red Devil from the TXR Zero was one of my favs too. Damn fast when properly tuned... I missed that front fascia when i got the Zero One...

Indeed, that crazy Zaku head front bumper lol. Although, he still has the v-fin, mono-eye, and colouring on 3/01. They need to do an RX-78-2 Gundam car now...prolly will never happen, tho. XD

I really really really need to buy a HD TV, I was looking at getting a lcd monitor for the PS3 but from what I have been reading I dont think that will work so well
