Just curious, do you guys suffer from stutters and lower fps in surfer's paradise and byron bay?

I started on Xbox, but I got sick of 30fps so I decided to upgrade my desktop gpu.

I also can't stand the ridiculous load times on Xbox.

Anyway, if you want to earn credits faster, I can suggest bumping up the difficulty and removing some assists. It really helps a lot in the long run.

I don't have any problem earning money. That LaF was just a result of 6-7 hours of casual gameplay. 1.5M/7 200K+ per hour is not bad for casual playing.

What pisses me off is the wheelspin. I f**king hate AWD cars but RWD cars are almost undrivable without TCS. I haven't adjusted my controller so the throttle still feels on/off.

it's driveable but you just have to know how to throttle control lol. especially turbo cars where you'll just get hit in the face with boost at like 5000rpm. especially in the lower gears you just sorta like 30-50% to start out and then as you get moving you can go for it (like once you're in 3rd gear you should be able to floor it without breaking traction)

also when i first read this comment i thought you were gonna say the prize wheelspins pissed you off because boy that did for me. you used to be able to buy them for 50k also, its 70 now pinch2.gif

there's some easy money "hacks" if you dont get bored of driving up and down the highway (relies on a skill boost horizon edition car and sticking to 320kmh+) you can get like 10 or 11 level ups (maybe more if you're lower rank) in around 12-13min. but yeah it's frustrating when half the wheelspins you win as a prize all give you 10k or less lmao.

i got sorta bored of this a while ago my cousins friends who used to wanna jump on like twice or three times a week got over it i think. so just messing around on free roam til i find some people to play with online lol.

RWD cars usually have higher top speed than AWD cars, but the initial burnout when starting a race can be costly if you don't control your throttle properly.

That being said, RWD are great for getting 3 stars on drift zones.

@WRX they increased the price of bonus wheelspins? That's insane, they weren't even profitable to begin with. I haven't played in a really long time lol.

ehh it depends on your luck basically. it can be profitable if you get more than 50k (well, now that its 70k its tougher) or a decent car. especially if you get another of the horizon edition, even the bad ones (like viper cr boost etc) you can usually get 500k~ or maybe more (if people are determined) in the auction house.

except the lamborghini countach horizon thing, they gave out one to everybody because of some maintenance or a bug or something. i tried to sell it on auction house ... no bids laugh.gif (i had one already)

Personally I don't need wheelspins to farm credits. I can afford anything I want. I only have a few more races in Byron Bay before I finish every single race (excluding street races). I have completed every other bucket list, PR stunt etc.

Really taking much longer to finish than Horizon 2. And I have yet to get started on Blizzard Mountain sad.gif

What do u wanna know? I have them.

@WRX I don't farm credits. I'm just OCD about completing stuff lol. The credits come naturally. Currently at 420/478 Horizon Promo progress. So hard to snap all the cars >.<

For how fast they are at stock, I'll see what's the max speed I can push them on the highways.

As for handling, it's subjective but I'll try to share my thoughts.

Pagani Huayra BC - Top speed 380. (With slope ~386) It handles quite well for a RWD, seldom starts going into a drift when cornering unless driver deliberately wants it to. Slight burnout when launching.

BMW M2 Coupe - Top speed 286. (With slope ~294) Personally I feel that it tends to understeer. Significant amount of burnout at launch and the acceleration is slow.

2016 GTA Spano - Top speed 372. (With slope ~380) Handling similar to the Pagani, just barely worse. Moderate amount of burnout at launch.

Aston Martin Vulcan - Top speed 304. (With slope ~310) Handling is quite bad imo, slides easily and usually understeers at anything > 100. Significant amount of burnout at launch and acceleration is much slower compared to the Pagani and Spano.

All tests were done on a highway, TCS set to ON, Stability Control set to OFF.

Sweet, thanks! Unfortunately, the Huayra BC in-game is the pre-release version, meaning it only has 740HP. The production version has 800HP.

From the Alpinestars Car Pack next: 2017 Acura NSX, BMW M4 GTS, 2016 Dodge Viper ACR.

I already bought and tuned those cars already so yea... Not gonna buy them again to get them to stock.

Off the top of my head, I hate the viper. Basically anything viper = lousy imo. Burnout and handling is terrible, acceleration is slower compared to other cars. Makes u wonder how is it fair that it competes with other cars of similar rating...

The NSX is just awesome.

As for BMW, I can't remember.

Btw, I no longer have any stock DLC cars left. The smoking tire pack was the last I purchased.

Considering the Vipers are by far the most OP BS in this game, that's quite strange you feel that way.

Dear God AWD ACRs of both gens are so f**king OP it's not even funny.

Thing is, it's only available in the auction house if you didn't get it through Forzathon.
