Meanwhile, I'm playing Groove Coaster on Android. Haven't try the arcade though?

There's one at Gandaria City you can check out (named Rhythmvaders). Huge song collection, including crossover songs from other rhythm games, persistent updates synced with the Japanese version, extra difficulty on some songs, and probably easier controls depending on your expertise. Negatives would be the off-sync inputs, so it's hard to get GREAT every note, but otherwise it is the flagship version of GC.

I play GC on iOS too and it kinda sucks all the best songs are paywalled.

Isn't Groove Coaster the Japanese version of Rhytmvaders for the arcade version?

playing this at the moment hahaha. found some guides so i actually know what im pressing half the time. was just playing on debut (easiest) for a while and gone to regular now which is pretty challenging. sorta freaky to realise there's another 2 higher difficulties

a few years ago i had some random craving to play guitar hero (3 and world tour mostly), ended up spending like $100ish on a guitar and games from ebay, played with it for like 2 weeks and then got over it again rolleyes.gif

that's about all the experience i've had with rhythm games

Exactly. It all matches the setup as well, and everything is translated except your title and some song titles.

my arcades got jubeat up grade to copious.......manually

china has its own jubeat version thats made by komami, we just switch the hard drive

manual version should be a emulator version, the game is updated by a player that has built his own machine and when ever i see him with a his laptop, i know we are getting new songs

are version is in Chinese, but sadly our machine is crap and fixing it is a pain in the ass

Tried SDVX and IIDX last month

Somewhat I prefer IIDX to SDVX. The catch is that IIDX is probably one of the hardest rhythm game to play.

To quote someone: "It's equal to IDAS"

Anyone still play ParaPara Paradise? I'm looking for a machine in SoCal (where I don't need to spend $3k to get my own). I was hoping they'd have one at AX this year, but no luck. sad.gif
