Depending on what car are you running, choose the car for it.
Example; if you are using the Devil Z (Akio Story) use the cards 1-5 (Kitami).... if you use other cards, you will see a HP drop and the car is slower....
For the RX-7, use the cards appropriate for it.... and so on....

unfortunaly, I cant see how much HP each car has since my TV is a standard 21' TV

another question... for example, cards from 1-5 from Kitami. Is there differences among them? and can i equip four cards from the same kind?

I don't think so, the cards get blocked if you want to choose 2 of the same kind.
Try to get the best of each one.... a good balance is the HP, the engine refresh, the tranny and the suspension...... (I got that setup now, and the car runs good)

The difference of Kitami cards are more HP and more revs..... Level 4 goes all the way to 10500 RPM, a good advantage in high speed races.

this game is really cool... but i cant find anyone to play online

and the story mode is too hard! i cant beat chapter 5 in devil z's story! >.<

(i only have a lvl 1 card from kitami )

I know......

tip: When you know that the race is going to be long (3 times w/ same car) try to cool down the car by releasing the gas before the finish line.

2tip: CHANGE the gas button to R2 and brake to L2..... the button is easy to manipulate, and you can maintain that speed longer and brake what you need.

Releasing the gas button before the end of the race I did in other races (in the first two survivals), but I didnt thought in changing the gas button... thx!

But something I think it's very bad... You earn some cards when beat chapters with silver medal, but if you earn a gold medal, you didnt receive more cards (sometime happened that I receive a card that I already had)

Oh, and I can't beat this same race in Blackbird's Story... Lvl 1 cards are too weak against CPU

patience is the key... I hate the sound of the car is about to explode, but overall the game is fun.


The CPU are different, and depends on what story you are doing, if you are stuck on BlackBird, move to another stories, they give you great setup cards to finish the story of Akio and Tatsuya.

And, before I forget, add me to play online (if posible in the US).... I want to try to beat the 400 kilometers on the white GTR33.

Yeah... But I'm stuck in the same race in Devil Z and Blackbird's story. I think it's in Chapter 5 (The race with Devil Z, Blackbird and R32 that is not from Reina). On Devil Z's side, there is a race before with R32 that I have to pass the the 330km/h... And there is only Reina's story to choose (that I finished it)

yeah, on the maximum speed mode (on the ring), it appears after you beat the story on the main menu. So far my record (before the engine melts) is 393km/h.

HOLY CRAP THAT'S FAST! That's like, ridiculous fast! Completely ridiculous fast! What the heck car are you using!?!?

first pic of this post..... white GTR33. 1100 HP Top speed (without the engine failure) 402km/h . But it's impossible, since the car @ 370 km/h wants to explode. Maybe I need more cards to tune it well and try again.

is there other ways to earn more cards without finishing for the first time story chapters or survival mode?

I got the game today,...yeaaa .
at first i thought this game is not that good,....but then after a few hours of playing I love it The handling is very cool.

So just a quick question because I am not sure if was asked already.... is this playable thru a US version of the PS3?

I was just looking at play-asia... and the game (both the Japan and Asian version), say "No Region Protection", so I am assuming that means that you can play it on a US PS3? or am I wrong.

yeah, it's region free, you can play it on an us playstation...someone said japanese games doesn't work on euro- ps3's but thats wrong,...it works. So wangan minight works on ALL ps3's The most games do.

Maybe you need to add friends and be all there @ the same time to play....

I think that is because is an old game... and has a lot of lag

I played only 2 times... and lost in both. People online only play with S30Z
