So I stumbled upon this game. It was created also by Namco. As a fan of motorsport-themed video games, this game looks interesting

I have seen the news of this. Apparently some of the content is MT related, but seems to stem more from Drift Spirits according to news articles.
Looks like a driving sim is coming to arcades once more after BG4, especially when the racing machine is set up to have 180 degree viewing angle (non-VR) in-cockpit view. Hopefully features expected for a racing sim are present that made BG4 special like clutch and handbrake.

I do realize that this game is actually Namco's answer to Battle Gear

Especially with that 6 shift and three pedals
