Hi everybody!
Can anyone suggest a good FC3S setup for courses like C1 and Yokohane?

The cosmo looks nice on aero B. I wonder if it performs well, too..

Thanks momo, are there any pros/cons?

I second that hanzel, I've never seen a cosmos either.

Pro:
Good cornering and the grip is juz nice.

Con:
The butt swing abit.
U can use 3D wing to fix that but personally i dun like 3D wing.
Its ugly haha laugh.gif

I get 0.3xx faster once i switch to this setting running Hanshin TA.
So i can say that this setting suits me better.
Everybody have their own style of running.
I'm not sure if this suits u.
U can give it a try tho happy.gif

The Cosmos isn't getting much attention where I usually play (and for the most part doesn't seem to get much attention anywhere else either)...

@machalel
I like the look of your Cosmos. And based on what you've shared about it's performance, it somehow reminds me of the R32. shifty2.gif

yeah, but it has nowhere near the grip of the R32!

I would probably describe it as a combination of Celsior and Supra, but with a bit less "oomph" then the Supra. (mind you, i've only played around with the Celsior/Supra, so i could be wrong tongue.gif)

I think a lot of people stay away just because they dont know what it is, or they go for something more popular, or get scared away by it's "slidey" nature (lots of wall hits when starting out)

^ I second that... most people just prefer the more popular (and "sure win") cars rather than try out something that is different.

The FC is not one of the popular cars right? ermm2.gif
That's my 1st car cuz it's my dream car...
But with 9.5k mileage on it...I can safely say it's not one of the "sure win" cars...
It's nowhere near top tier besides the crazy exit speeds if you know how to control it well... wink2.gif

Agreed on the handling part...
But it crawls up real slow in terms of acceleration...
And slides too much... sad.gif

^ from what I heard (or read) and experienced, the FC grips best among the three commonly used Mazdas (RX-8, FD & FC). The Rx-8 come second and the FD is the one that slides without a GT-wing... Correct me if I'm wrong on that...

Are you serious???
I have the FC as my 1st and main car...
Before I found the correct parts for it it slides like it's on an ice skating rink...
Or maybe it's just me being the idiot... fear2.gif

Are there any other disadvantages besides it being like a pinball?
I just have my rx-8 set up some random way...

If you want you can try mine.

Aero B kit
Aero mirrors
Rays GramLights 57F
Wingless

We just can't do much regarding the acceleration of the RX-8.
This one grips when I need it, slides whenever I want it to.
And besides, underpowered car drivers are better than those who plainly rely on their cars.

Like you, it's my first car. For me I can drive the RX-8 faster than I can with my R32 and Evo 9.

Dunno man, I drove the S15 and Celsior so I know what sliding is all about XD. I put the straight wing, aero set B and RS Watanabe's and it just does Hakone with such ease and precision thats its not funny. Only problem is its 5th gear sucks so badly that I can't gain enough speed during the uphill portion of Inbound ='(...

@FClover
as far as wingless configs are concerned, yep, the Rx-8 has best handling among the three of them.

The Aero B seems weird to me... like in order to slide you kinda have the steer abit harder then with the Aero C, I don't know if you need the 3D-GT wing to fix but it just seems weird to me. I think i'm going to try Aero A
