ah im on playstation.

tried tonight, if i press solo mode from the options (from pause) then it joins, and i do the tutorial thing (pick up from airport), but it disconnects as soon as the guy walks into the mission hotspot thing (for the race)

Apparently not a single person on the PS Network can play GTA:Online, so it's not just a bunch of you.

Meanwhile, people on XBL are able to connect, but only a very selected few of them out of the millions that are trying. The problem seems to be with the very first mission with Lamar and the game refusing to let you connect. If you manage to brute force your way into the game by repeatedly trying 24/7 and you're one of the lucky ones that get through, you'll find that the game will work properly with no connection issues.

A bit of a shame since a few of my friends are stuck in the first mission and can't get through the server hurdle. Have to play with randoms/XBL friends in the mean time. :l

I just joined GTA Online just for lucky, Just reached level 5. Until race (2nd one) is took forever..i gave up already.
let's wait for fix the server or patched any soon hopefully. I will buy new game to kill my times before GTAV is fixed.

I finally got to play some on GTAO today. I like it, though I along with everyone else will have to climb the ladder.

Did a capture the flag type event with a random guy earlier, and it was quite fun. I ended up winning, and got 4k.

yeah i've been reading

now it gets slightly further. he walks into the mission marker, then it goes to a "waiting for players" screen. i thought to myself, oh this might take a few minutes, switched back to PC. 1/2hr passed, forgot about gta, switch back... "waiting for players"

I have actually been very lucky. Haven't had any issues past day 1, and when I asked to go online I was almost always granted access.

Though my stupid internet kept kicking me off PSN.

i can get on if i make a private session and i cant do any missions or races, and money magically disappears after i grind for hours and and log off.

think im done until next patch...

Phil invited me to a deathmatch the other night. Safe to say I got massacred until my internet decided to crap out.

lol didn't know if it was your net or you just ragequit. i just saw ".. has left the game" " ... is offline"



people play like such assholes online (why am i surprised?) so i didnt play online for long. that and it's still a little glitchy.

I still enjoyed being in the deathmatch though. Getting killed is part of the fun in my eyes.

i usually stay up nights so i can play with you guys. i need some friends, honestly trying to solo this sucks. half my time is spent starting at the above view as stuff loads, and now i can play but i always randomly get kicked from sessions by players and go back to michael, more load screens. and i can never get any people in a freakin missions or races.
