Hmmmm....a 1972 240Z that was only driven till '82, then put into an airplane hanger....and it's a one owner car.....with less than 100k miles on it? Why yes, I am interested....

cross your fingers that the rust is not that bad altogether....and what a nice f**king S30...somehow if it was clean and not dust-ridden it looks pretty damn awesome...and its stock ffs..

Guaranteed it's going to need some work atleast on the interior, but yah, REALLY damn hopeful for this. Especially since I get the plates with it...

It's pretty much all sorted out already. Just need to raise it a bit, finish setting up the suspension, switch the axles to CVs and the rear brakes to disks, touch up some of the paint, paint the engine bay and spoilers, and get my L30 into there.

Swung by the shop today. This sight made me choke up more than when I first saw the car after it'd been hit. Maybe it's just finally sinking in that the first car I ever owned is really dead

my last Z jane, you guys saw the thread, well she was totaled by insurance the frame bucked, BUT it could have been fixed if i really wanted to...

honestly i really did want to but the frame work alone was going to run 4k+

Yeah, considering I bought the blue '72 for 9k, and just straightening the frame would have been 5k+....I ditched the '73. Not worth it to me.

Hahahaha. Sorry but when you can buy another one without frame damage for less than repairing frame damage, it's dead.

Still waiting on an invitation to stop by...I might end up checking out StraightAwayZ's latest project before this one...

Holy shit balls batman. Got her back from the shop today all dyno tuned and sorted, paint all touched up, lines all zinced and nickled and shit. Engine bay seriously looks like it just came off the goddamn assembly line.
