I understand that people would like to talk to each other about other common interests and just shoot the breeze. Get to know each other in a friendly way is what makes a great community along with rules followed.

I am still against opening an Off-Topic section because of the massive amount of spam and it draws away the focus of the forum.

So I have made this topic. Talk to others about common interests, get to know each other.

Hopefully this topic all goes well. smile.gif

Thanks alot for the topic start Hara. The one thing I really wanted to talk about that was off section was if anyone else had a love of Foriegn Films like I do.(Foriegn Films are films that come from a country besides your own, usually used to describe films coming out of Asia, I.E. Japan, China, Thiland, ect.) I'm a REALLY big foriegn movie junkie and I was wondering if anyone else was to. If you have a few favorites, post them up so others(me!) can check um out. Here's just a few of my favorites.

Horror:
Audition---Takashi Miike
Ichi the Killer---^
The Park---Andrew Lau
Shibuya Kaidan---Kei Horie
Yogen---Tsuruta Nario
Jisatsu Sakuru---Sion Sano
Face---Tae Weon-jong
Peppermint Candy---Lee Chang-dong
Kairo---Kiyoshi Kurosawa
H---Jong-hyuk Lee

Action:
The Killer---John Woo
A Better Tomorrow -^
Dead or Alive---Takashi Miike
Infernal Affairs---Andrew Lau
Initial-D----------------^
Battle Royale---Kinji Fukasaku
Fist of Legend---Gordan Chan
Attack the Gas Station---Sang-Jin Kim
The Hitman---Wei Tung
District B13---Pierre Morel(French)

This is a VERY SHORT list, If anyone else likes these movies or has new ones, post um!

Thanks for sharing Sunzabuto. I guess i'll keep the ball rolling.
I'm 17 and I live in Melbourne. Although I dont get as much chances as Sunzy to watch foreign films I'm a media student finishing year 12. I gotta say my favourite director of all time is M. Night. I cant say i've ever watched a movie by him where I havent gone 'WOW' at the end. Only foreign movie I own is the Initial D dvd. But I catch the occasional foreign movie on SBS. Im a huge car enthusiest with a love for Silvias. To this day, when people ask me what my dream car would be I still say S-13 silvia. People think im crazy that I'd choose such an old car that's quite common. But I'll never change lol.

I think you've heard enough about me tongue.gif I hope to get a majority of you on MSN so we can chat. Add me if you like. A couple of you already have.

Cloudstrife676@gmail.com

Also, If you've seen my photochops running arround the site and are interested I've got a DeviantArt account for you to check out.
Give me pageviews
Im looking forward to knowing all of you a lot better and creating a small WM community.

Cheers biggrin.gif

As stated above, this has nothing to do with introducing yourself, which you already have in another member's thread.

I am merging this post with the Off Topic Thread for now.

Assuming you're a fresh graduate, Sunzabuto, welcome to the real world... hehe... then again, you'll be having more money (your OWN money, not allowance) to spend on WMMT2 and other stuff. laugh.gif

Yah cant wait for that influx of spending money again. My last job at OCB (Old Country Buffet) sucked ass..By the way, I would suggest never eating there again, their food preporation isnt what you would call "acceptable"...

Hmm... I can't really relate to your story of Old Country Buffet, since I'm living in a different country. But I did have my fair share of eating at mediocre restaurants...

"Timezone Glorietta 4 is considered to be the breeding ground of the some of the best Maximum Tune players in the Philippines."

Hmmm... I can't really comment about Timezone Glorietta 4 being the breeding ground of the best MT racers in the Philippines as there are quite a lot of venues here in Metro Manila alone (Timezone Glorietta 4 being one of them) that can be considered as such.

But for sure, many of the best in the Philippines play there. happy.gif

I have no idea why, the movie was really good. The whole storyline was solid, had some REALLY funnyass parts to it, lots of action, and the special effects were so amazing. Plus the chick was SOOOOO HOT! Great movie. I never listen to critics anyway, I always decide for myself by seeing it.
