I drive a 1994 VW Jetta, ftw! jk It's got a list of problems... 157K+ mileage, No radio, no a/c, no heater, broken locks (not all of them lock at the same time), leaking coolant, oil warning likes to beep once in a while... My friends have told me to get a new one, but it still gets me from A to B. Besides, I don't think I can afford another and its the car I got my license with, so I'm a bit attached.

I have an E30 320i as a daily at the moment.
Project car is a corolla gt coupe, it's still in a bit of a sorry state, needing a lot of welding. It's in the middle of being stripped for weight reduction, the 7-age has been bolted in already.

I drive a black-on-black 99' VW Jetta GLX with everything stock save for a catback magnaflow exhaust system with a pretty decent sound system. I have plans to continue modding my car but then again I'm also looking to start a new project car because the Jetta is pretty much my commuter.

The fear of all Trabants, 2CV`s and Smarts... the wolf in sheep`s fur... Populus Carrus Lupus 50 hp @ 998 kg - beat this! More sheep than wolf. But it`s sufficient for the Autobahn - except you are slowed down by trackblockers who never heard about the "Rechtsfahrgebot" (the order to drive on the right side). If you don`t take over, stay at the right, if you are taking over make sure that you are much faster than the cars that you want to take over. If I can swivel fluidly in and out in all those gaps with such a mediocre powered car why can`t people do it with much more powerful cars?

Kentaro, I've admired your car since I first stumbled upon velocity's webpage in about 2002! I love R31's I see there seems to be a few Ziptied and Driftworks members appearing on here now, cool As for what I drive, see sig l V

QUOTE (Gies @ Today at 11:19 AM) | because its against the law to overtake on the right lane |
You can swivel in and out of those gaps without overtaking on the right. You cruise on the right lane at 110-130 kph and then you encounter a trackblocker on the middle lane crawling at 90 kph and you hope that he will change to the right lane before you will catch up. The right lane is free until the horizon but it`s not allowed to stay on the right side because it would be overtaking. So you got to change to the middle lane and slow down because you don`t want to rear end the trackblocker and then you are already to slow to take over - especially if you only got 50 hp. Then I turn into a trackblocker when I take over and another car comes up from behind. Right lane free until the horizon and two cars next to each other blocking the left and middle lane. You rarely encounter roadhogs on the Autobahn but always those jerks that don`t know how to drive on the Autobahn. If you are much faster than other cars, take over and then change again to the right lane if it is free again. Driving on the Autobahn could be so comfortable, relaxing and fuel-saving by following those simple rules! If you want to drive straight ahead for hundreds of kilometers without changing lanes, go by train! Or just stay at home if you are seemingly dead. Next weekend I got to drive altogether 700 km on the Autobahn - that will be fun... This post has been edited by animalica on Jan 25 2008, 03:42 PM

I drive a red 1993 Nissan 240sx. Pretty much stock except for lowering springs, short throw shifter. I'm turboing the factory engine and going with Megasquirt for standalone fuel management.
