Well once i get a car im prob gunna get a Evo or a GCB

hmm... you say you'll get an evo or a GCB now, but fuel is crazy these days. I said I was going to get an S-13, I can get one any time now, but I don't have one because of fuel prices. If I bought one today it'd sit in my driveway...

Get 33-40 mpg though. Hopefully the GLHS will be fixed within a year or so.

what so wrong with that car? you can press hard as you want and still be over 20mpg

Yeah well I pressed it as hard I as I could and still only ran a 12.005@57mph in the 8th mile, that's what's so wrong with it It is bone stock though, I'm going to replace the cat w/ a resonator soon. And I need some good rims/tires for it, 175/75/13's aren't the most confidence-inspiring wheels to have in the corners

How is that any worse than your average stock car? I see a lot of cars run worse times than that. I know my buddy's stock Cobalt LS runs 10 flat.

instea of dragging the poor car why not autocross?

Not much auto-x around this area, besides as I said w/ the current wheels and tires it'd be a joke also. I really don't plan on putting much into this car, my interest lies more in my Dodge trucks and fwd turbo cars, like my GLHS, the '84 Shelby Charger that I'm swapping a 2.0 DOHC into w/ MS, my Rampage, etc. Also have the 240Z (which actually I may sell once it's running good and painted) and my '87 RX-7 TII, and a '67 Coronet w/ a 383, so the ol' Turky isn't high on my list as far as mods go.

As far as times at the track, My '72 Dodge truck ran a 10 flat with a 240k mile 318 2bbl and a 3-spd manual I actually am not really big into drag racing, it's just the cheapest and closest type of racing available to me (dragway is about 10 minutes away). I'd much rather hit a road course, but the nearest one is 3 hrs away. So I have to be content w/ backroads/mountain roads and keeping an eye out for the blue meanies

I'm sure someone took a vid of the dyno run. its back in the shop getting more tuning done as we were aiming for more HP with the current set up. Dont want to put on more parts until we get to that HP.

(easier to buy parts I know but with the money we spent on the engine and with the engines history it damn better make that HP lol)
