just watched eps 3 & 4 of Hard Gay's subs. They're not bad, but is it just me or are they out of sync a little bit?

one thing i dont like about the anime is that the anime isnt the original version. for example. the ferrari in the anime looses control when hes racing akio but the original manga he looses control and crashes big time into a truck. and the whole harbor scene in the manga never happens. its always better to read the manga

This happens alot in Anime. That's a thing I have read mangas on certain series that either the storyline is entirely different or its is shorten that some or most of the storyline was taken off. Trinity Blood anyone? Anyways, I'm just a fan that likes almost everything except tokyo mewmew and Pokemon.....Yes I embrace Gravitation but I'm not going into detail with that lol! Regardless if the Anime or Manga is better..just think about it....after so long they finally gotten this Anime going should be happy we've been waiting for this good series to go out and aired biweekly and quit complaining about how bad it is or how bad the manga is vice versa or so on and so forth. XD But I'm complaining about it. I'll eventually get into the manga sooner or later.

Turujilo, I have to disagree with you. The harbor scene does happen in the Manga. That's how some of us knew what was going to happen before the episodes came out; someone posted the manga pages where the Porsche keeps the Devil Z from crashing into the ocean.

But I can already tell there are differences between the manga and Anime, without having read the whole manga (or rather, most of it). I can only hope that this Anime continues on through the whole story... it would be awesome to have this series continue on past 26 episodes and take on the whole manga!

Not to mention, I'm itching to run into the later drivers.

the manga is really old. its been done for a long time.after manga they did the game,after they did the anime, it is very new.i do not have the manga with me now but i know it is old

Well the Manga was indeed made in the late 80's early 90's. Then the Movies came out and so on. :3

Anyway, figured I'd update people...

The fourth DVD (episodes 7-8) came out the other day, and now resides on my hard drive, yay. About damn time that came out.

The ETA for episodes 3-6 (oh shi- Nomake making an ESTIMATE) is later today. It's almost 8 AM right now, and today is my first day off in a while. Everything goes as planned, 3-6 will be done today.

7-10, we'll see what happens after 3-6 are done.

Uhh... I have a little problem with the "The Manga is Done" theory... I just picked up volume 39 from my local Japanese market, and the book is dated December 6th, 2007. The last page of this manga clearly states (in the bottom corner): "Continues in Volume 40."

Where are you getting your info from?

DVD Volume 5 (Episodes 9-10): January 25th
DVD Volume 6 (Episodes 11-12): February 22nd
DVD Volume 7 (Episodes 13-14): April 23rd

It's funny to me how they announced the release date of DVD Volume 7, but haven't yet announced the airdate for episodes 13-14. Oh well.
