I'm liking this anime a lot. I played the arcade version and got interested in the story, and then when the anime came out I liked it even more. But just one thing bothered me in the anime, and it's the music during the races. To me, it's not exciting at all...Don't get me wrong though, I still loooove this series! I just thought the races would go much better with trance, which is exactly the genre Yuzo Koshiro used to get players hooked in the famous arcade series. I came to this forum because there's wangan fans. And the purpose of this post is to share an editing I did on the first episode, subbed by OMFG. An editing of the music that plays during the races. I just edited for fun, and thought the anime got much more exciting with trance music. You can check out my edits in 4 parts in youtube and see for yourself. Tell me what you guys think after.

Oh, no no, I was just posting the DVD release dates because I found them. I didn't mean to imply that they weren't airing episodes--far from it.

Episodes 13-14: February 15th
Episodes 15-16: March 21st

That's what you get for using Wikipedia as your source of information. Go to the real source before believing what Wikipedia says. Remember: anyone can edit Wikipedia to say anything.

People need to stop taking Wikipedia as gospel and do some real research. Don't have to look very hard... I mean... first post of this very thread, lol...

Thought I should mention that the PPV page has been MAJORLY updated, and now features both a running reel of screenshots from the current episodes (15/16), as well as a confirmed release date for episodes 17-18. April 18th. Yay!

Wow! I was going through boxes of old manga, most of which has been long licensed by now, and I spot WM. I completely forgot it existed up until a few days ago. I have to say I'm kinda shocked the series isn't over and done with at this point. The fact that it's still airing and doesn't have a regular fansubber even more so.

Nice to see people still dedicated to the older and more obscure titles. My hat's off to those who have subbed/translated what is out there now. Keep up the good work!
