the fastest way to strip of paint is to soak your model in brake fluid. (but remove everyhting first, just the bare body). i use prestone dot 3 brake fluid. remember to prime first before painting. and you dont really need a spray booth. i dont have either. just make sure its not too dusty. when painting.

Lol, thank you for the comments.  I just found out the headlight covers come off and the slim headlights are underneath...painting them and working on some clear covers now.

If Keisuke was real, I'd trade it to him for a ride in his FC.  If this diecast was a real car, I'd keep it for myself!!!

blink.gif

you mean FD, right?

You're serious? he'll never trade his FD...he'll prefer it more than hot babe like Kyoko...

Man! he's as retarded as Akio does...

Ditching women, over cars...but i guess that's what makes them 'them' right?

Gah, sorry type-o. That's what I get for being lazing and reclining in my chair at night, so I have to reach up to the keyboard.

Yeah, Keisuke is being kinda funny now. But, he used to be a gang leader. I'm guessing he had a lot of time for fun and women back in the day, now he's focusing on his career. His goal is to be a professional race driver, so the skills and lessons he learns now are all going towards that. He is also making REALLY good contacts and getting his name out there...God-Foot could pull some strings and he'd be on the pro-circuits now.

I think Takumi is MUCH more retarded, when it comes to women.

But I gotta disagree with the Tak being hopeless in relationships thing. Under the circumstances his relationship with Natsuki was, I wouldnt know how i'd act either. Let's see how he works his moves with his new girlfriend in 5th stage.

Jon, rewatch Legend of Speed and listen to the GC WRX STi, notice something very funny? Especially for a moderately tuned Rexy?

Well, enough with model cars for right now...I'm working on my car this weekend. Made a LOT of headway into the Evo III conversion. Just need to get the jdm rear bumper and pods, amber side markers, get some rims on the car, and paint it.

Here's a sneak peak, more will be coming soon this week.

Thank you very much Hara. I am taking a LOT of pictures so I can put together a write-up for the automotive section.

I am looking into rear-brake disc conversion for it right now, as well. And, the 4g63t swap...maybe awd conversion. We'll see how my money is when I get there, lol.

JM, I saw a pretty good article in Modified Magazine called the "MirEvo." Might be worth checking out.

Oh, thanks. I'll have to see about that...I love Modified, one of the only magazines I will read anymore. I know pretty well what I'm doing tho, with the build. I have the support of 2 shops (one specializing in Mitsubishi and awd conversions). I just need more money for it all, lol.

@Jon Michael

Congratulations on the latest developments of your Evo conversion. happy.gif I can share your sentiments with regards to saving money. My frequency of playing Maximum Tune has drastically decreased nowadays in order for me to save some cash to repair and and some mods for the Corolla... fear2.gif

For now, I am just getting a quick coat of silver over it. When I am swapping the 4g63 into it later, and I can paint everything, I will paint it black...maybe.

Just gotta find some wheels now.

That's great... starting everything from a low-price package... can't wait to here from you doing the 4G63 engine swap and completed it... Going turbo as well?
Black paint, sir? Reminds me of Kyle Sudo's EvoIII... grin2.gif

Lol, yeah have to save up slowly...or just find someone to buy my S14. Then I could jump onto the project and tackle it in no time. Oh yes, I am swapping in a 6-bolt 4g63 turbo. Either a 1g DSM engine, or an Evo II engine.

Lol, my friend wants me to buy the Emperor vinyl and put it on the car. NO WAY, lol. Was joking because my coworker has a white FC, my friend has a silver/panda AE86 Trueno, and my gf's brother has a Impreza that he did up like a ver. VI...said we should all go as our Initial D characters. XD

Crazy... My office by random happenstance is now representing 3 of the road race victims that I mentioned in the Freeway racing thread. I'm still not sure if it's gonna come down to my end or not.
