well my local sk8 park, it cost $8 for 4 hrs or $12 for all day, 10 till 10
its called monster,its apparently biggest sk8 park in sthern hemisphere

tofu_boy- gud point on the 86, gud luk on finding one or ask ur local importer if they could bring in a 86 . Tip, make it CLEAN as possible!

I'm not much of an expert with cars but I agree with wangan_sti when he said that you should keep the AE86 as clean as possible... then again, maybe the Initial-D image of the AE86 got stuck into my head... On the other hand, if you can't find an AE86, you can try looking for a look-alike, albeit a bit larger one: A Nissan Sunny hatchback maybe?

Ok i wil see if i can import an 86 directy from JP i was thinking of doing that even that was my frist choice but yeah oh are mabe i shoud in port a KCP10 tjose are good i was thinking on geting one wht do you guys think of that.

Stuff the AE86, stupidly expensive and waste a ton of $$$ keeping the damn thing together let alone running reasonably okay pace. You get more fun and performance out of plenty other cars.

@ Tofu_boy- that would be nice, but u should focusing on finding an importer and see the price. Trust me, when i saw an AE86, it look damn HOT!!!

@RB33- I just saw the impreza that my dad is thinking about in the car show, the owner i saw in the card was the salesman . Now its like were thinking of buying a show car

So yeah...being 19 sucks like heck. Lol oh well, its just another day...

Hnn... DreadAngel does have a point... The AE86 maybe a lot more affordable than the newer ones but as far as maintenance is concerned, it could be quite troublesome on the pocket. Then again, I've seen people over here take good care of their Mitsubishi Lancer Celestes use them on an almost daily basis.

@RB33- guess were not gettin an impreza, my dad is acually lookin at this slightly used forester (No Turbo! ) well he responded "at least its a subaru right" . Oh well at least were keepin the FD1(06 civic), ill be full of regrets if i sell it

Nobody's stopping you from getting the AE86. My previous comments with regards to parts came from my experiences here in my country. Admittedly, there's a rather high supply of Toyota spare parts and mods here due to the fact that the Toyota Corollas are the car of choice for the majority of taxi operators. However, the AE86 here is rather hard to find. Try studying your area's situation (car availability, parts, etc.) before giving up on your plans on the AE86.

Well, considering what your dad has to consider (practicality, affordability, efficiency), I think your dad made a good choice with the forester.

well some one in my area is selling a Stock Black S15 Silvia Spec-R For 19K sould i take up this offer and i found a Good white AE86 Hatchback in the best condition for $2,500 im still cant choose .And hows work doing for ya .

hnn.. if you're having trouble choosing, try thinking in terms of practicality, economic efficiency, eae of maintenance and most importantly, personal satisfaction. If one of them is able to satisfy or all ballance all four categories mentioned, then that' your ride

Btw, personal satisfaction is also very important. You don't want to end up with a car that you don't really want or need.
