god dam the good for nothing Traffic police...
i was waiting for my friend with his 06 Camry to pick me up so that we could go to the Gathering, but what happened was that he got pulled over and booked by the police and fined. His Camry was ready with the green dusty thing (we call em tagberah) and KSA written all over the car, and pics of the king all over the rear window, but that Bastard decided that he have "changed the original looks of the car, playing High music, endangering people on the road", he got locked up...
the Saudi system says that if you were "driving Recklessly (i.e: Speeding), you get fined 5K Riyals (about 1400$), 5 Days behind bars, cars get booked for a week, and 20 lashes...
hopefully, my friend will get some wasdah (making a person help you out by saying somthing to the other guy (i.e: Mohhamad says hi)...
god, i hate these Stupid police officers, they focus on Harmless people (i.e: tuners, innocent people), and they leave those ****ing stupid skidders go happy...

these are the real deal, 8 lbs(or less) per wheel, you can pick up these babies with one finger. tires are heavire than the rims itself. its going to the race car that we're building up, thats why no time to play WM. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

now im waiting for the tein coilovers to arrive, some carbon fiber hood trunk and doors and other goodies for our project car. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Yeah, they're my favourite rims >< I never knew they were that light though. That's crazy

@ Geo, 37,000 Philippines Pesos is worth about $1,144 Australian.

they're very light. the car we're building is a corolla ae101 sedan, with fomula atlantic(indy car spec) 4AG engine, engine can rev up to 11000RPMS, but we'll be bringing it down to a more conservative 9000-9500RPMS for reliability issues. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

yup. 37000 pesos is roughly 800-830USD(depends on conversion factor)

no pics yet as the car is now a stripped shell as of now. CF trunk doors and hood are already ordered. biggrin.gif

ken_r34: you play in festival? i think i saw your name there. i bought the rims in QC. biggrin.gif

Jon's computer has been broken for at least the past month. I'll bug him the next time I see him, which could be anywhere from a week to a month or two...

Yeah, pretty much. He doesn't come to the local meets anymore either, something about his gf not wanting to go out, so I really have no idea when I'll see him next. sad.gif

I was actually gonna comment to that effect, but I decided not to... laugh.gif

But I completely agree. Seriously, it's one night a week, and she'll be there when he comes back, so there's no reason for him to skip out on good times and beer.

Well, maybe Jon is really enjoying spending more time with his girl than whatmany of us originally thought... Gotta give credit to the guy though, he has the stomach to give up some of the things that he enjoys doing for his girl... though I'm pretty sure his girl is also making some sort of compromise with him as well...
