Okay, since Initial D World's forum has kindof died down, I'm gonna start posting a lil more vigorously here.
I'm Thir13teen, same name as my /idw/ account, just so yeh know.
I've been rockin' the boards here since late 2008, and have been on /idw/ since mid-2005. Let me just poast up 25 random facts aboot mahself for you all.
1. I have been die-hard into cars since I was two years old.
2. I have been able to quote "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" in its entirety since I was thirteen.
3. I have, will, and forever shall hate Kingdom Hearts. Disney & Square are like ice cream and hot sauce; taste great by themselves, but are terrible together.
4. Jesus is my homeboy; no seriously, He is. He and I are closer than brothas.
5. I'm going for my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. I want to work in the auto industry or for a major race team
6. Daft Punk is the greatest dance music duo in the world, end of argument.
7. Recently, I have been becoming a fan of the Volkswagen tuning scene. If you hate narrow tires stretched over wide BBS rims rubbing on the fenders, that's your problem.
8. My last preacher looked and sounded like Joe Pesci. Too bad the church was oh, I dunno, like nine people in total including my family of four.
9. My favorite book of all time is Catch 22 by Joseph Heller. I began reading it, and I hated doing so, but it grew on me. Everyone should read it.
10. There was no better actor than James Stewart IMHO. He's got a bunch of reasons he's so epic, so go watch 'em. Two biggest reasons for his unadulterated greatness; "It's a Wonderful Life" and "Harvey".
12. Crows Zero is the best Japanese live-action film I have seen in a while. Just think gangster movie with delinquent teenage yakuza wannabes. Totally epic.
13. I've been into anime since I was ten.
11. I'm a die-hard Initial D fan. If I came across a decent AE86 Corolla for under $3000, I'd buy it even though I know it's a crappy car.
14. My favorite anime of all time would have to be Outlaw Star. For anyone who hasn't seen it, think Star Trek if the Enterprise had arms that held guns and knives as big as a space shuttle, and was piloted by a bounty hunter, crazy cat girl, samurai, android and a ten-year old super genius. Oh and make outer space into the galactic wild west. That about covers it.
15. I loved comics since I was young. My all-time favorite series is Batman. It's like James Bond + Sherlock Holmes + Dracula
16. Even though I like Batman as a series, my favorite character has always been Two-Face with the Juhoker coming in at a close second.
17. Bill Cosby is my second favorite celebrity collecting social security right now. Number one's Clint Eastwood (Get off my lawn!)
18. Due to number 17, I'm now hankering for some Jell-O Pudding Pops
19. I can't stand people who are real cocky without anything to back their words up. It's like those ricer Civics with the ridiculous urethane body kits and coffee can mufflers; looks flashy and sounds loud and annyoing, but never performs.
20. I am trying to talk to cute girls that I see at places I go; still haven't gotten any digits yet though, but I am most definitely not a quitter.
21. I am an Eagle Scout, and I will be one 'till the day I die.
22. I could never go into the military; I've got loads of respect for all of the servicemen/women, but I never could do what they do.
23. My dream car as of right now has got to be a Nissan GT-R, that is it will be when they fix the dang transmission on it!
24. I am currently doing Mixed Martial Arts, but I don't plan on fighting at all.
25. I really don't get the Wii; it's fun, don't get me wrong, but the games that come out for it are for the most part are total crap.

QUOTE (cmspaz @ Apr 16 2009, 11:41 AM) | Okay, so guess who I saw last night? None other than Jon Michael!
I passed along the message that he's missed here, and he made a comment about bumming a computer off his parents. We'll see what happens. IMO, he needs to find a new job, but I know first hand, that's easier said than done in this economy. |
So the fellow is still alive? Its been a while since we've heard from him... And its been a while since I last dropped by this thread... @Sunzabuto How are things on your end?

QUOTE (ken_r34 @ 4 hours, 33 minutes ago) | ^ independent broker?
I thought you're good with Ayala...? |
I am good with Ayala Land... But by being an independent broker, I can cover a larger market not to mention that I am not limited to Ayala Land projects alone.

QUOTE (DOHC @ 53 minutes, 44 seconds ago) | well in American joining the reserves is very beneficiary depending what field you are studying. Example being a aerospace engineer and you join the reserves working with the F-35 wouldnt that be beneficiary for Exp? |
Now that you put it that way, that's not a very bad idea... but seriously, over here, nobody in their right mind would join the army reserve or any of the armed forces unless they really want to be in the armed forces simply because the armed forces here aren't what they're supposed to be...

QUOTE (Sunzabuto @ 9 hours, 2 minutes ago) | lol, didnt hit my head btw. But the reserves is just a good way to jump start my future. Now Ill have $$$ for college, a new car, my gf's engagement ring , ect. Also both my mom and dad were in the Army and I've always had an interest.
also, about knowing your name, one word: Telepathy... |
Looks like you have everything planned out... at the very least, being in the army will provide you a decent job and a steady pay during worst case scenarios... Telepathy... yeah... my name does go around quite a bit Btw, the Pacquiao-Hatton fight is near... Who's you're bet? Anyone? This post has been edited by RB33 on May 2 2009, 06:20 PM

Protip: Love of a woman>Wangan... but only slightly Yah, maybe not planned out completely but I really love the way my life is headed right now. I have a woman whos deeply in love with me and me with her, Im about to achieve my dream of joining the military, I might suck at school but I'll keep at it. Also, Pacquiao all the way, heading to my buddies place to watch the fight. Try watching a Pacquiao fight at a Filipino household, an experience to say the least lol

Ah yes... you're situation in life, while not necessarily the best, is one that would make many green with envy As for the Pacquiao-Hatton fight, how was watching the show? I must say that the traffic over here came to a stand-still during the fight and you can barely see a vehicle on the road
