QUOTE (Ryosuke takahashi @ Yesterday at 7:34 AM)
There are many factor why people hate mountain pass:
1.Sharper turns
2.More multiple corners
3.Narrower road
4.more uphill and downhill stage
5.2 way course, not like highways which are mostly of them are 1 way.
6.harder to predict a good racing line
7.darker

But for me all of them is challenges so I like Mountain Pass

and THAT makes it challenging!!! huhuhuhu (mischievous laugh) shifty2.gif
Think about it...

1. If your good at sharper turns, your something...
2. (just the same as #1) only challenging...
3. The best racer wins if he/she squeezes and overtakes the runner perfectly...
4. the up and downhill, then I shall adjust to it even if my car is underpowered which if you can manage... you're good.
5. Like Irohazaka... Full speed downhill battle which takes a lot of skill...
6. which if you predict good racing lines or blind corners, you have utterly good advantage when it comes to highways (which is much easier)
7. hhuhuhuhu my fave... shifty2.gif BLIND ATTACK!!!, especially when you really know the course even if you, your opponent's, OR even both of your headlights are turned off... as they say "Survival of the fittest", then if one of you can't take it anymore..... one of you crashes then turns on the headlights.

So that's why I love mountain passes. laugh.gif

A 1996 Camaro 3.8L V6 RS is much fun! lost a tiny spec of paint a couple days ago from drifting down from where i live....

if this is referring to the game... its both too....

i dont really play much WMMT3 anymore since im working 5 days a week... and... i prefer real life racing. tongue.gif

they would not be fun with mt3 physics
like, i wouldnt mind it i just generally think it wouldnt be enjoyable because of how sharp those corners are compared to hakone.. the flow and lines of the courses in mt3 would be very odd

real life = highway
MT3 = mountains(hakone biggrin.gif)

there's no way a normal person could run on mountains...thats just too suicide...
xcept you're very good at drift biggrin.gif
bad ending if you(and your car) ended at valleys
at least highway crash is instant death, not really painful..isnt it?

@Dare
Maybe Hakone is only side courses.
Besides Highway

You know in WM there was Hakone too.
So why not Namco added the mountain courses? Isn't it exciting?

Dude, Initial D physics are made FOR their courses. Maximum Tune physics are made FOR their courses. Maximum Tune physics with Initial D courses, especially Irohazaka, would be just HELL. Just thinking about doing it gets me frustrated... Actually doing it would make me not wanna play anymore.

and im sure you shouldn't be talking.
with all those damn maximum tune cards on your sig, im sure i shouldnt be the one to be a failure.

damn you people and underlooking american sports cars as pieces of tin. they ARENT as bad as you think. i got this car last year, played around with it, tuned it, and even at 90,000 miles on the car it burns quite a lot of racers on the highway around here.

i dont like mountain/touge racing, but my friends like it, so i join in. true that 420hp is a bit much for Tantelus(hawaii), so i stay at a pace, but enough to burn a few racers on the course, obviously not the fastest, but decent.

GO DIE~

Current Vote: 33.33% Mountain, 66.67% Highway.

I prefer the highway because there's traffic to fool with and it's a lot more interesting than seein' all the trees. Hakone's way too narrow and a bit too curvy to slack - it's nothing but pure adrenaline rush! And when you wipe out, you really wipe out - as in recovering from an easy 200km behind in 3 seconds flat (BTDT - happens quite often).

highway is just as a lot of people have said, dangerously fast. you need skill on a highway. need to tune your engine properly so you can dodge traffic and make those slight turns without spinning out or just losing traction/speed.

o ya and not to lose control. mmm true. But i lik the drifting feeling or speed around corners that you get on mountains. I drove a Honda Jazz around my local mountain, cos I live in a valley. It is hell fun. Left, right, shift, left, shift, right, shift.... and so on. Ahhh I miss it. I have to do it again soon.

That's why I avoid the Wangan and Osaka.
Wangan's only straight, Osaka's a big right-turn hamster wheel.
Yokohane is mostly straightaways with enough curves to keep you focused.
C1/NBL is the exact opposite of Yokohane.
Hakone is like a limited version of Osaka, but at least it's not all right-turns.

I'll pick C1/NBL, Yokohane, Hakone, Osaka, and Wangan in that order of preference (for the above reasons) when choosing a Versus track.
