QUOTE (suv_drift @ Yesterday at 3:05 PM) | security software?....... nope. (I don't think there's any.) Do what I do..... take you the memory card when you left the PSP in a place for a while (no memory card, no music, no games, no internet (since you need to save the password on it)) |
You can use the internet without the memory card. I should know, when I first got my psp without a card that's all I used it for. But you can't save bookmarks, history, or cookies etc.
QUOTE (wangan_sti @ Today at 6:39 AM) | try silent hill origins, fifa n' nba 08, n' NFS pro street |
NFS pro street is actually a terrible game on PSP. It's really not worth getting. Plenty of better games. What you want is Test Drive Unlimited if you have internet connection. You can play that for hours. Another option is flashing your PSP and playing PS1 games. I've been working my way through Gran Turismo 2 for a while. But Definitely get Crisis Core. God of War is overrated too. My choices are: - Patapon
- Locoroco
- Me & My Katamari
- Test Drive PSP
- Tekken Dark Resurection
- Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories
- Fast and Furious
- Tales of the World - Radient Mythology
- and Brave Story - New Traveler
There are many other great PSP games out there that I haven't had a chance to play, but just try them for yourself. Isos are the way to go. This post has been edited by Midnight Star on Apr 14 2008, 08:26 PM

sshh..... that why I can control, and left mine, at home (since the time I put custom firmware in it, my brother is asking every time for it, and sometimes he takes it without permission)...... you can access the internet, but without memory card, you got not pictures, no music, no videos, and neither games (unless you want to start the game every time you put it on).

QUOTE (akinaae86 @ Apr 19 2008, 01:27 PM) | 1) the memory stick that came with it loads significantly slower than the one i had (though we bought our units from the same store), and transferring ISO's from my pc to the stick takes soooooo long... the store keeper sez it was not high-speed....
2) the unit cannot play UMD's while mine can... i hear the motor and seeing that the psp is displaying its version of the windows hourglass, then after 5 or so minutes, it gives me a cannot read disc message
|
1- depends of the memory stick. have the SanDisk Ultra II 2GB card, and its way faster than the normal one. So, I can't tell how slow it is.
2- sounds bad, check by upgrading the firmware, if problems continue, send it to sony (with original firmware, they don't accept custom ones) to fix it. My friend have a similar problem, and he wanted me to open it and fix it. It's hard, but possible to get to the back of the PSP.

hi, anyone have a WEP passphrase converter for psp? i think the psp accepts the WEP key itself, rather than the passphrase... this usually happens when i go out to eat and the manager gives us the passphrase if we want to use thei wifi
btw, i find street supremacy cool...
BTW, regarding my memory stick problem, i noticed that all fmv's are like slow, and pauses per second, the worst one was in crisis core, like i had to put up with the frame-by-frame pausing... anyway i can get that back to normal? or is it time to buy a hi-speed memory stick... and btw, does the SanDisk memory stick perform better than the Sony one in terms of data access and transfer speed?

QUOTE (wangan_sti @ Today at 8:45 PM) | i wuz a about to get both crisis core n test drive unlimited, but instead tryout the new ones. Man thats one horrable mistake . Pro street isnt xciting as the previous n isnt as realistic as TDU.
BTW add to the list Call of duty n medal of honor |
Medal of honor prolly wouldn't make it onto my favourites list... I haven't played call of duty yet, but I have medal of honor. The story mode is really frustrating. it's not hard, just that you're always killed by your allies grenades. The game would be easier if you had no allies... Online mode is slightly fun. Capture the flag is nice if you have 32 players on at the same time, but otherwise, the game is rubbish. Controls are horid... TDU is far from realistic on PSP at least though, It's just more fun than Pro Street. Pro street was just really crap... But seriously, when was the last time you took a Lambo on a bush bash in hawaii? This post has been edited by Midnight Star on May 18 2008, 08:53 PM
