DS is only best seller because it's cheaper and all the 10 year olds get em for christmas. As an owner of both a DS and a PSP, I gotta say that the PSP is the better gadget. Only reason DS is good is cos heaps of people have them so you can always play multiplayer. Finding someone with a PSP is difficult...

And about those screws, they're really not that bad. I think they're the same as the ones on the Sony Talkman microphone for the PSP which I got on my PSP right now. They're not so tedious to put on. Same goes for all PSP attachments, camera, GPS, Microphone, whatever.

Only downside to the GPS so far is that the official software doesn't have maps for Australia and many parts of the world, but homebrew GPS software fixes that.

For the microphones, they come bundled with games. For the headset, buy Socom, and for the one you plug in at the top comes with Talkman

PSP is a better overall device. with the DS, you can view pictures and play movies/mp3 only if you use the R4 or sometihng.

Even then, you need Moonshell installed, and the speakers and screen are crap. Not worth watching or listening to anything on the DS.

I bought FF1 PSP a few weeks ago...kind of a regretful purchases.

And anyone who thinks touchscreens are useless in gaming need to get B*tch-slapped with copies of Trauma Center: UtK 1 and 2, Elite Beat Agents, and The World Ends With You.

Wah, I agree with you on all titles except the last one. Hated the world ends with you. Battle system is weird, control two people at the same time. How the hell can people look at two battles at the same time without being cock-eyed... But yeah, EBA, and Trauma Center are awesome. FPS games seem to work better than on the PSP too.

Also, lol @ FF1. I never buy remakes

Fast and Furious...

I'm not kidding, prolly the best tuner game on PSP unfortunately...

25 layers of vinyls, licenced cars and parts, semi-good gameplay including touge and wangan racing.

damn... its slowly become a matter of too much of the same thing. all the races seem the same. and top speed races seem boring. i tuned the shit out of my 350z. and i got an integra for grip battles. but, its so boring now...

I seriously need a better console, better than my old xbox, that's affordable (<$200). If I do get a PSP, I'm going to get Initial D and Wangan Midnight Protable.

Just google "Gran Turismo 2 PSP'. It's probably the best racing game we're gunna get for a while unless they actually decide to release GT portable which was supposed to be released initially with the original god damn PSP... ah vaporware...

WMPortable is completely shit... you may think, "oh this kid just doesnt think its anything like MT3", well, its basically an absolute port... and the controls are a bit tedious.

Street Stage on the other hand, is bloody win. takes a while to get used to it, but once you get the hang of it, its a damn good game. much unlike WMPortable...

lol, WM portable, It's fail you can take with you... It's a port of the old PS2 wangan midnight game. If you want a decent highway racing game then get Shutoku Battle Zone of Control or Street supremacy. Same game engine as WM portable, but with a lot more customisation.

huh.gif More? ...... I don't know if it me, but I found it less customization, controls are way to sensitive, and cars sounds like micro machines... whistling.gif

IDSS feels more natural, and the races are a lot fun.

its got more customisation that WM portable anyway. The car sounds are pretty bad, but it's an alternative to WM portable

lol, once you get the physics it's not THAT hard, you just need to break a lot more than in max tune. It's just a generally boring game to play, that and it's glitchy as hell... What also annoyed me is that you can't slip around the outside of traffic either... Game seems to glitch if you try that
