Luckily, I have a PSP able to play those files. happy.gif

Awesome!!! So this is the actual game?! Wow...my uncle'll love me for giving him a copy if it is. He loves Macross as well. happy.gif

Er...I just don't know how to do this is all...when I'm done downloading, I get a whole bunch of files. The first thing I do is unzip the first zipped file, right?

Alright. All I know is what the end "result" looks like. I guess this one should be an .iso file. The name of the next zipped item is "cvn-maf.iso" after all. But why would it be a zipped file? Shouldn't it just be an .iso?

I guess you'll see when you do it yourself. Maybe you'll find out what's going on. I might've just done it wrong...

maybe your method of unzipping thinks that iso files are unzipable? just "filename.iso" would do. as long as there isnt anything shit after the .ISO bit.

What are you trying to say? I'm not understanding, really...been up kind of late, so you'll have to go kind of easy on me. pinch2.gif

My method of unzipping? You mean like which program I use?

Yeah, I said the file is an unzipped file named "cvn-maf.iso"

I use winRAR to unzip files. Is that not something I should use?

you can use it but i prefer using UltimateZip. have you actually tried using that yet? (refering to "cvn-maf.iso") just give it a try first...

what? you're confusing me. you say you've unzipped the files and the result you get is the "cvn-maf.iso". use THAT file.

I know. Except the file is zipped. It's a zipped "cvn-maf.iso"
And when I unzip it I don't get any kind of an .iso file from it.

Sorry. I told you I'm just about half-asleep.

Oh wow...this is so weird...but I actually got it to work. I just put the zipped file onto my PSP and it started right up. laugh.gif

Okay, that'll clear up anything for anyone who has the same problem then. This is the weirdest thing I've ever encountered for a while...but it works. Thanks for your help getting me started up!

Definitely need translations for those who don't read Japanese though. Just about everything is Japanese. I tried Free Mode out, and...yeah...I never even got started. The menus...Japanese...all of it. I was completely lost. If anyone ever figures out what everything means, it'd be cool if you'd share your...knowledge. happy.gif

I know no japanese at all and I'm playing it easily, All I have trouble with is the customisation of the mechs themselves, like adding points to attributes, but story mode is pretty straight forward, just kill anything that gets targeted tongue.gif I'm in love with my psp again lol, I need to re-download ace combat again XD

Yeah, this game is awesome. I just did a few free missions to learn the controls. Still trying to get used to them.

I've always been in love with my PSP though. wink2.gif
It's my MP3 player and everything!

lol, yeah the controls are very weird. I wonder why they chose to use the analogue stick for transformation and the D pad for movement...

Yeah, shouldn't it have been the other way around? lol
But it's still a good game.

My only problem is that my uncle is a way bigger fan of this than I'll ever be. But he doesn't speak Japanese...or read it. I really wanna give him this, but I'm going to need to figure it out first. At least the free mission rules thingy. I have no idea what to do there. I just go down to "Okay," but I feel like it'd be even more fun if I could mess around with it and give him a cool little "training run" or something. I don't know. Hope a translation of the menus come out someday. happy.gif

Oh yeah, do you unlock any more playable characters and such for Free Mission Mode?

Ikuzo!!! Back to playing!!!

Worms on PSP is actually terrible... It's pretty much unplayable with the psp's controls. Frontier is pretty much the best psp game out in my opinion, but I'm a crazy macross fan so i'm biased tongue.gif
