Any news on the posters, as of yet?

I also want to make known that I have access to a professional t-shirt press. If that would be of interest to you at all, I will ask my friend what exactly he can do with it. It's his dad's, but he never uses it and told my friend he can use it for whatever he wants. I could prolly whip up some tshirts with shop logos from WM, and stuff.

Its still at a standstill so to say. Busy with work and such. But were still just planning things out still and getting everything set-up. Im glad people are looking forward to do this. Just give it some time folks.

But we have access to what you mentioned as well. We have certain connections in those areas. Thats mainly the reason Im going through with this. I wouldnt be going through normal channels to do this kind of project.

Alright, I just wanted to let you guys know incase there was any way I could help. It's nice tohear you have connections, connections are good. ^^

to get a sig you gotta upload your desired pic to an image host. I use imageshack.us personally. once you've uploaded the pic, get it's url and put it in the sig box in the user controls with image tags.

Well I have no clue now. Since the original mods left WME, I think there's been no more progress on such a plan. Shame though, I'll bring it up in the next staff meeting.

Part of the staff (Midnight Star, Perry and myself) have discussed this, and I have an alternative. However, this alternative is useless unless we get contributions from YOU ALL!

I work at Office Depot at the moment, which means I get a pretty good discount at the Print Center. We're fully capable of mass-producing posters with our equipment, including having them laminated if necessary. We've done test prints before for large-format printers and they always come out looking great (assuming the source image was of high enough resolution).

So here's the deal. I'm fully willing to get a whole lot of posters printed up. But I need artwork! This is where you guys come in. I know we have some artistic members here, so let's get this going!

Submission Guidelines
-Must not be copyrighted artwork. No screenshots from Wangan, please!
-Should be limited to cars which appear in Wangan Midnight.
-Should contain an appropriate backdrop (Tokyo skyline, Wangan Expressway, etc)

As for resolution, that I'll have to ask the print guys about. I don't know what DPI our printers are capable of, so I don't know what resolution they convert to. But my coworker knows them inside and out, so I'll ask at work tomorrow.

Likewise, the size of the poster will determine the cost. I'm fully willing to make the cost of the posters equal to the cost of making them. Hopefully that won't be much more than $15 each, but we'll see.

Oh, and don't worry about logos. I'm thinking of taking the "Wangan Midnight" Japanese logo and then adding Expressway to it, similar to what Perry has in our banner (only with more color!). These can be added on afterward, so yeah.
