Hey, I would like to help out for Wangan Midnight but I would like to know where I could find Typesetter programs. I only know maybe to set up the english timing with the video and have a good style font like other fansub shows like Kamen Rider Den-O and Gundam SEED Destiny. So if anyone knows about it PM me or reply here.

One of the best programs for fansubing is AEGISUB. You can download it from www.aegisub.cellosoft.com

There is windows and linux version.
Timing, typesetting, with no obstacles.

I use it myself, and I recommend it.

it supports:
avi, avs (avisynth's scripts), mkv, ogm, mp4, mpeg, mpg, vob

But with this software You can only make timing, karaoke, subs etc. I mean, You can make SOFT SUBS
If You want to merge video with subs (HARDSUB), You should use VirtualDubMod+Avisynth.
(this is my method of making harsubs, You can do it another way)

I've used three programs.

1.) DVDSubber2. I HATED IT. It's awful. Neat idea, poor coding. If it worked properly it would be great, but it doesn't. Stay away.

2.) AegisSub. Neat idea, and I'm sure that if I were to learn it it would be awesome. But it's way too complex to use quickly. The pros use it. I compare it to like, Adobe Premiere versus Windows Movie Maker. The former is pro, but complicated. The latter...

3.) SubStationAlpha. My favorite. You load a WAV file of the audio, and do subbing on the fly. Basic. Simple. Gets the job done. This is what I use for Wangan Midnight.
