Thought I would start a thread for us socal players since there are a good amount of us on this forum and hopefully it wont turn into a spam and flame thread like how the A.I. thread turned out to be. If you have some thoughts on our SoCal family, meet us, get some friendly competition goin on, or just wanna hang, plz dont be afraid to post.

Keep in mind, that this thread is for discussion for meetings, tournaments, or something of that sort. This is NOT a discussion thread for various members from the so-cal area to "shoot the breeze".

In light of the Norcal area having a tournament thread, I will keep this open. If this turns into what the AI thread was before, I will not hesitate to lock it down.

What's the parking situation at Camelot; price of machines; #of machines?

I used to live there part of my first years of my life in OC, longbeach, to san diego. Now TX.

ne ways I have a question.

1. Wat are good arcades that are located socal? (around longbeach in general)

Parking is never really packed at camelot but for prices

1.00 to play
1.00 to continue
.50 to transfer
1.00 to renew
and so far only 2 machines I actually told one of the managers to try and get 4.

well in long beach the only arcade we got is regency, cal bowl

4 machines but still mt2
they said they will get mt3 but they didnt give me a definite answer of when they will get it

1.00 play
.75 continue
1.00 transfer
1.00 renew

How far is AI and Camelot?

It seems that most of you guys go to these general places.

camelot is on la palma and kreamer and u can c camelot off the 91frw

AI = busy

most AI regulars will ninja visit camelot... even though AI is cheaper.

There about 15 to 30 minutes apart depending on traffic.

I might hit up Camelot tomorrow, if I can find some cash.

Theres also Super Arcade, Action Arcade, and I think maybe James Games? (Last time I was there, they had 4 WMMT2.

ya im in the Socal area and i play at westwood arcade next to UCLA.
anyone know any other arcades that have MT3 in the area

The machines at sherman oaks are okay, I like van nuys machines better. Also, Japan Arcade in Little Tokyo has WMMT3.

wheres the Japan arcade in little tokyo and how much is it?
is it in english?

and how much is it in sherman oaks? how much in Van Nuys?

lil tokyo is 1 dollar to star and 75 cents to continue.....they use tokens 2 machines(ANd the market dwn stairs has cheap sushi and they have a bomb ass ice cream dwn stairs too:) parlor....parking is free after 6pm

the plant in van nuys i hear is either 1.25 or 1.50 quarter sys has 4 machines
