Good afternoon people! Wow, this thread is pretty active even in the holidays.

OSFkael made a suggestion that for the upcoming takuyaki race on Jan.5, there will be drawing of lots for the four divisions of racers based on evo_Sieg's plan (pls. refer to previous posts). The idea is that the 1st placer would have enough time to recover his energy after winning against three other equally hungry opponents in his bracket.

We are also aware that majority of the fellows here use multiple cars in MT3 so to keep the playing field interesting (and fair), participants can only use on car from their collection throughout the entire race.

Any comments on the said suggestions?

I'm getting intrigued with your Corolla It's also good to know that there are still people who use the GTO. It's getting rather tiring to see Evos, GTRs and Imprezas battle it out time and time again (no offense to the racers who use the above mentioned cars. I know they're good that's why there's a whole lot of them.).

Ah really? Well you'll be intrigued to know I finished Story Mode unshaded with that Corolla (but didn't get to keep the Undefeated Highway Dominator title for long). Whereas I've had lots of good memories with that GTO - it has the most wins in VS mode among my cars not to mention the most milage (its my only car with over 5000km total milage). So if ever I get to join that Takuyaki tournament (not sure yet if I actually will) I'll most likely use the GTO.

wow...i havent posted for a day. it feels good to be back. went s30z hunting yesterday. lol i saw one in antipolo, too much cancer or rust.

believe me im still a noob when it comes to other maps... the only maps that i like is the osaka and wangan line westbound

Hehe actually I'm also contemplating on getting the HiAce myself just for the fun of it (same reason I got the Corolla; I just didn't expect to be so competitive with it).

Well like I said it depends on if I get to join in. Speaking of which, what are the requirements to participate? Just showing up, or are there things to do like registration or paying entrance fees and stuff?

GUYS! i have an idea... y dont we make it a lil more interesting... do i get to defend my crown? if yes... id say.. the winner of the races will get to challenge me?? i got the idea from need for speed pro street... u have to win the races to get a shot... when the "showdown king" loses.. the winner takes his place and gets to be the next showdown king... and it'll go on and on..... just a thought

just show up and of course introduce your self to us... the tourney will be held at timezone gateway.. the only payment that you will gonna pay is the one card for all the participants of the race and i dont know how much is the amount... regarding the s30z i'm the one who said that there's a s30z selling at the car hub near the santolan lrt station.. worth Php 90k

There really ain't any fees or such. Just show up and race! hehe.. Hopefully you'd be there too.

really there's no payment?!? i thought that all of us would be sharing a new card and thats the only card that we will use until we declare a new winner....

i dont think so that the s30 there are not in good condition... there's also a evo 7 and some mustangs, benz in there store.. ohh there's also some harley davidsons motorcycles

I'm out for a few days and there's a lot to catch up (10 pages) looks like TZ Gateway will be crowded this Jan 5.

yeah, old rusty one. theres this old guy who lives in Town and Country, he owns a lot of old cars...mustangs, fors tempest, and lots lots more. most of them are in excellent condition...well...mostly the American ones... lol. poor s30, will take lots of money to restore it...even the chassis's busted... anyway, still have lots of days to look for more...especially the midnight blue one in makati CBD.

abt the takoyaki race...how will we know whos who? lol. there will be other civillians there, how will we know who's who and who's not who's supposed to be with us?

i think i know that.. i also lived in Town and country.... yeah the guy has lots of old and vintage cars around his area.. and i also saw ariel one day on the house of the guy i think he's checking some vintage cars...

Ah I see a lot of player have a taste for vintage cars... When I was at Makati there was a bldg along Gil Puyat ave. and the entire 6th or 7th floor (i'm not sure) was filled with vintage cars and I think they were there to be restored.

Hnn... I like the idea.. though I don't know how will we fit that into the brackets made by evo_Sieg... maybe three brackets and the winners of the three brackets (1st placers) will get to challenge OSFmix in a four-way match... Hnn... any comments?... OSFwin? evo_Sieg?

all you have to do is to let us know through the forums that you will participate on Jan.5 and just show up on the race itself. The only expenses that you will pay there is for the common card and the payment for the takuyaki balls treat to whoever wins the races.
