aaah, so it's RPM-based.... i'll try to experiment with RPM-based and speed-based shifting, if that would make any difference....

There's not much difference between the Evo8 and Evo9.. The latter is just lighter and has better acceleration. From my experience with the Evo8, try using both RPM-based shifting (straights) and speed-based shifting (cornering) where appropriate. Then again, it's just my opinion.

Depends on what you want for your car. If you're more inclined to cornering, then try sticking to the aero configs that allow you to improve cornering. But if you want more and more speed, then go for the smaller or better yet, non-existent wing/spoiler if you can handle the reduction in handling that comes along with the said setup. happy.gif

I'm not so sure about the rims but the carbon bonnet or the hood with vents helps increase your speed. Not sure by how much.

Just let them be jerks be. Empty cans usually make the loudest noise and better men (and women) like us usually take the high road unless provoked. Besides, it's not worth our time paying them attention and doing so only feeds their already skinny egos. grin2.gif grin2.gif

@tigger
I rarely show up at Galleria. I usually show up at Timezone, Gateway, Greenhills or Trinoma when time permits. When I do show up, its usually late in the afternoon on weekends and early evening on weekdays (if I have not OT)... happy.gif
