My schedule's quite unstable recently, sometimes I feel like playing, sometimes I have work to do, or a date.
To be safe, see you guys when I see you. But most probably you'll see me at Gateway, feel free to approach me when you see me there. With the exception of RB33 of course..
@RB33 Takuyaki balls ulit!

QUOTE (RB33 @ Nov 10 2007, 12:57 PM) | @akinaae86 If you're looking for a car that is similar to an S30Z, you might want to try looking for a Mitsubishi Lancer Celeste or a two-door coupe version of the Toyota Corolla Sprinter.
Both cars maybe as old as the S30Z but they are more numerous meaning they also have more spare parts that are available to them, particularly the Toyota Corolla Sprinter. |
celeste are kinda hard to find parts. the 1971-74 corolla ke25(sprinters-actually most philippine units are levins-a mistake made by filipinos-a true sprinter is very rare) and ke35(SR-same car in my sig) are kinda plenty, but will take time to find the "right" one. most are in kinda bad shape and hard parts are kinda scarce(signal lamps, tailights bumpers dash etc..-although i discovered a warehouse in QC that has all old school car parts). rust is your enemy(my prob too). engine mods are plentiful, from the standard 1200 k-series to 4age and 3sgte. a friend is putting a 1jz engine in his SR. and yesterday i got to talk to someone with a 3au engine. good running and restored ke25/35s run for 90k+++Pesos. most are in the 35k-50k pesos range, but you ahve to work on either/or/and body, engine, suspensions and mostly interior.
my car is undergoing some body prep and painting by wednesday. hopefully this weekend my baby will be out and running again. a hella lotta cash leaving my pockets again, even if its just me painting it.
another option is to find a TA22 celica(1974/75/76). its longer, lower and sleeker, and is more comparable to the s30z
