the hiace in 1st person is like playing in 3rd person because your so high up xD all the cars look like ant's below you

I am now a convert... I now play with 3rd person view...

First person for me cause I believe that it's the most realistic driving view (err...when driving in real life is it possible to see your car's ass in your windshield )

Just joking around.

Though a few times (5% of the time), I do switch a bit to 3rd person if I need to see traffic ahead when some car is blocking my view...................or if I feel tempted to look at the cool green neon tubes on my car (which looks amazing)

But in all seriousness, use whatever driving view you want.

I just converted to 3rd-person view out of battle-necessity But I could still toy around with 1st-person view should the need arise...

1st person view. For me it's a more realistic way of driving even though it is a game

For some reason I can't get the knack of going 3rd person. Whenever I try 3rd person, I always hit a car in a simple straight, hit corners...etc...

Hmmm...I think I'm the only player using 1st person in our arcade...gasp...

If theres is only 1st person view, I wont even touch de game. I use 3rd person view, C0x i feel the thrill when i see my car drift and how sexy is my car~. =D

it depends, TA i usually go for 1st person, but in battle, 3rd person..

i agree with BeastinLondon and gian7675, its cuz im used to playin Initial D xD

normally 3rd but when im on the last straight and im 1st i block people off ( normally works )

For people that uses 1st person view i feels that there are blind spots which determines the whole battle.

But yes most people who uses 1st person view are pros.

I prefer Third Person

i interchange in TA sometimes..like when before entry i will go first person, and exit in 3rd person...


but predominately 3rd person

Almost never use 1st view.
I always use 3rd if I play my R34 n FD
But I must change to 1st view if playing Hiace, with Aero A of course.

UPDATE: 1pv is sorta disorienting when squeezing between traffic vehicles and/or walls; only used for checking rear-view; 3pv 99% of the way.

Both, I started out with First person, learnt Third person, now i use both, for checking traffic in battles, tailgating would switch to third person, or switch to First for rearview.

I now use 1st person view when driving the HiAce, as I find its perspective (eg height above the road, view distance, etc) similar to 3rd person for other cars. 3rd person in the HiAce I find kind of disorienting.
