50/50 at my arcade.. only 1 "pro" uses 1st person the rest are nooobbbbs

m tryin to learn 3rd person view cuz m a noob

1st Person

3rd for story mode and battle races, 1st for TA's

1st for cuz sum how to me 3rd person reacts kindoff slower

I voted little of both

1st. I dont like the feeling of 3rd, never did in any car game. Comes from my driving/karting background I guess. I find with 3rd my timing tends to be off, and somehow I fit between cars better with 1st.

3rd... I'll only use it when I'm stuck behind a car and cant see past. Or if I'm running a straight and wanna have a look at my car.

i prefer the third person view

I used to use 1st person on every course but Hakone, but now, I kinda use 3rd person on every course. I hate the fact that there is no hood. If there was a hood, I'd atleast be able to tell when my front end is going to hit a wall, rather than going "If my tac is covering x-ammount of wall, then Im going to clip it"

3rd person because i love the view of my sexy car

I use mostly third person because of the birds eye view, so I can see what is up ahead. This is useful for me especially for traffic, but when I play Hakone for some reason first person is my preference.

1st person gives you the rear mirror which is easier to block those behind you.

First person always. I can do third person only if I'm forced like sticking behind someone's arse in battle...

3rd person all the way. I'll switch to 1st person only just to check out where my opponents are. U noe, the rear view mirror. Duh......

actually 3rd person view is the best..
lets say u're in a narrow 2 lanes straight road. u're on the left lane and about to hit a car when you swerve to the right lane. and with 1st person view, u can't see whether there's a car on the right lane . so WHAM! u hit the car on the right lane and lose bloody hell loads of speed.

I use 3rd, coz third is easier to check how far ur car's buttt and head is from a wall during a turn. I only use third when i need to see how far the opponents are behind me becoz i suck at visualizing. Eg. I look at the advantage meter, says 15m, i cant visualize how far away 15m is, so i switch to 1st person to have a look. But half the time i ram into traffic when i do that...coz i suck at 1st person. But that's just me.

I use both, depends on the situation.

im use both depending on track , day/night but TA's i find it better useing 3rd,most of the ppl that play were i am all use 3rd when doing TA's so must work

well 1st if i am behind & 3rd if i am ahead cuz if i don't look at my a the other racers i would feel like i am TAing & that means i'm going 2 b racing myself

well gota said i used to In-car until i play WMMT3 ...coz it feel realli weird to drive In-car in WMMT...well i realli like WMMT3 view cause the camera lock on the car..when i turn or anything it like it juz stuck there....well i oni use In-car view to see rear view mirror when racing...

depends. i dunno why, but when i use my z33 i use 3rd person and when i ues my impreza i use 1st.

i start learn tapping walls from that.
with 1st person you hardly can do that since you dunnow your car butt will hit the walls/not

I use 3rd person for WMMT, and 1st for all sims. The reason being in 1st person you can't really see where you're going, cause the car doesn't face the direction of travel exactly. In games like GT, it's grip all the way, but in WMMT it's a sort of mix of both (Grift? Drip?).
