I don't exactly know whether this topic is in the right place or not, but I'm hoping it is...

Well, this is about the Dreamcast game Tokyo Xtreme Racer (or Shutokou Highway Battle). I'm talking about the first version of the game. Ok, has anybody played this? And if you have, did you play it to the very end? If you have, then you'll understand why this topic deals with WM...

wow...yeah I played this game a lot,...i had the blackbird, the fk-ingfast red R34 GTR and alot of other cars i can't remember
this game was so cool,...it looked so fast and smooth
that was my favourite racing game on the dreamcast.
I have to play it again,...it's been a long time...I didn't even know that the black porsche should be the blackbird black then

Did you know you could unlock the Devil Z? It has like...724 hp!

From what I can remember from Zero (PS2)
You have to beat all the cars, including all the boss, and the specific ones of the game.... then the blue S30Z appears....

I don't know if this applies to the first one, but that car have more that 1100 HP... I beat it with the 964 @ wangan (and I'm not lying.....)

TXR 3's North American release unfortunately shipped with two game killing flaws. One was an opponent that only appeared when you had 1,000,000 credits even though you couldn't get more than 990,000 or something and could only be beaten with some sort of cheat device meaning- no Gamshark/Actionreplay= never get 100% of the game= never restart w new game+.

Another gamekiller was saving in the sub garage was a difficult undertaking. You could actually kill your subgarage accidentally by refusing to overwrite it which happened to me and I lost a lot of my best cars which is why I rarely play it anymore....

Ah that's gotta suck...I've only played the first one though. I played it last night until like...sunrise... O_O

I'm a hardcore Wangan racer. Or else I'm just obsessed with it...but yeah in the first one all you have to do is go to quick race mode and beat all 100 rivals (which isn't as hard as it sounds) and then go to the shop and there's a really cheap 240Z there that you can get in midnight blue, black, silver, and white. (although you can really just custom color it after you buy it anyway...)

I've gone over 200km/h with it and it still hasn't hit top speed yet!

Edit: Just so you guys know...200km/h on that game is supposed to be impossible to reach. And I'm not bragging!
