Wow, the quality of the subs is good.

I got some advice for Superjakko though. Looks like the volume of the movie is kinda 'silent'

I already maximize the volume on my laptop, and the media player, but it's still not loud yet. Please take this advice to improve your quality subbing

It's because he used the 5.1 audio track when importing into Encode360. Had he used the 2.0 track and normalized it, the volume would have been fine. 5.1 tracks, when downmixed without normalization, are quiet.

With regards to the sound, they are matroska files with the sound in 5.1 channel already. I didn't rip them myself so I have no control over that. If it's too quiet burn it to DVD with ConvertXtoDVD and watch it on your TV the way it should be. It's such a great quality rip, watching it on a PC screen is always gonna be less enjoyable. I'm in no way having a go at anyone who chooses to watch it this way but it translates to the big screen a whole lot better. Trust me (although I'm not a doctor, just a Superhero).

I can encode the 2.0 track and normalize it for you if you'd like, and send it in MP3 format for future encodes. I have the actual DVDs, so.

is there a way to make this iPOD compatible? the only thing i know is to download it. then go to zamzar and it'll email me the file...

It'll be on here tomorrow with a bit of luck. It's done and encoded, I've simply got to send it to the man himself for getting it posted. This should be even better quality than the last (albeit a tiny difference). I'll be doing one a week 'til I get to #12. Then we'll have to see. I'm enjoying it at the moment so it's all good. One a week is about all I can manage realistically as I've got a full time job and a wife and 3 kids to keep me busy so fitting this in without looking like a boring geek fart to my family is the real challenge. Happy days.

Holy crap! I just watched it on the big screen. I've encoded this one slightly differently (not adjusted the video or sound from the original source). The improvement is awesome. I'm not doing any self trumpet blowing but this is how I wanted it to look (so much so I'm gonna re-do the 7th episode with the same settings and change the incorrect spelling of chassis, d'oh!) Like I said it just needs uploading now so i'll burn it to cd and take it to work in the morning (it's 1am in the morning here and I need my beauty sleep!) I'll see thee all tomorrow for the reviews.
