So I tried using left handed shifters for the first time. (chq in vancouver is a GREAT arcade - 8 machines right shifters, 4 machines left shifters) Verdict: da da da da da... I'm lovin' it! Pedals are fabulous, but the left hand shifting takes some getting used to. Having played earlier versions of initial d helps. I remember earlier in this thread MaxX had issues with left handed shifters (stopping him from joining a tourney), but does he still have those issues? (it's not too hard to get used to. sure, you shift wrong and you'll look like an idiot for the first few runs, but after a few, you get used to it) My left arm is as gimp as arms get. Think of Mr. Burns from the simpsons, and you'll have an idea of what my arms look like. But it just takes some getting used to. If a n00b like me can do it, then I'm sure the guy who smoked me by 500+ meters can do it better. This post has been edited by blues on Jul 15 2008, 10:40 PM
